         <description><![CDATA[<div>Nearly being replaced, the resentment towards the Treaty of Versailles fueled the rising power of Adolf Hitler, who was eventually appointed Chancellor of Germany on January 30, 1933. On September 15, 1935, German Jew's rights get greatly limited and seen as nothing but "subjects" to the place.          <title>September 1, 1939 - The Beginning</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Before the invasion, the Polish made some calculations, but it was until Hitler's attack on Poland on September 1, 1939, that they realized they greatly miscalculated their efforts. The effects of the loss resulted in Great Britain and France declaring war on Germany, thus the start of World War II. America wanted to stay out of the conflict in order to keep its neutrality.          <description><![CDATA[<div>Germany started a series of bombings against Great Britain on July 10, 1940, which began The Battle of Britain. Despite these attacks, the British had advantages that helped them get through the battles such as an effective radar system and superior quality aircraft.          <description><![CDATA[<div>Pearl Harbor was a United States naval base located in Honolulu, Hawaii. People like Chester Nimitz were Chief of the Bureau of Navigation and help take command. Pearl Harbor was a place where no one believed the Japanese would attack. But on December 7, 1941, The Japanese unexpectedly attacked Pearl Harbor, enraging many U.S. citizens (including 750,000 Texans) and becoming the ultimate reason for the country to join the war. <br><br>History.com Editors.          <title>May 4, 1942 -  The Battle of the Coral Sea</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The Coral Sea is northeast of Australia and is part of the Pacific Ocean. This sea took the place of a battle between the U.S. and Japan.&nbsp; They used both naval and air forces during the conflict marking it as the first of that type of battle; despite Japan winning the fight, the after-effects of the action were too costly for the country, so they had to cancel their plans to go to Port Moresby, Papua, as well as other South Pacific targets.<br><br>History.com Editors.
