Preventative measures should be put in place more to promote healthier food options not only to make individuals healthy, but to PREVENT chronic diseases like obesity. When an individual becomes obese, they put themselves in a hard position to have no other option in treatment plans. Many people who are obese, cannot afford these various forms of treatment, so they are forced to either live with obesity or be in medical debt.
