Time is the most important thing for the student. It’s very easy to get carried away with other affairs but then it’s too late to realize. Time management is crucial to be able to succeed with the planning.

The 10 steps of effective time management is a perfect structure,  but I don’t follow all of it. I already do few steps, for example : Prioritize what is most important and plan what I will do.

The workshop was helpful as it provided more knowledge about time management. Some of the suggestions were good, such as taking a short break when exhausted. During the workshop, I identified some key factors in managing time.These are :

·        Identifying goals

·        Getting organized

·        Sort out key documents and work schedule

·        Produce a work schedule

·        Keep up to date

One thing I will do differently is piling up my work and should finish my homework the day I receive it.

The effective way to prepare for exam is , not memorizing anything. I always try to understand the main topic and improvise from there. I do this because I am not good at memorizing. I set up an action plan before exam starts. This helps me to focus on main study points.

Good grades are nice to have. It gives my motivation a boost. For good grades I have to study hard, yes, thats a hard lesson I have already learned.I sould stop piling up my work

According to "The study skills Handbook" ,It is worth trying  to look at some of the recent past examination papers for each  subject areas. This will help me to give  a flavour of the style of questions that may come up.

In class, I exchanged exam prep information with my classmates. During this , Ayub suggested doing home works together. We gave it a go later day, it was fun and effective.
