On a sunny Sunday at 3 p.m., I decided to leave my small room and explore my university campus to clear my mind and do something productive. A short fifteen-minute walk. I started walking from Bent Hall. Everything was very calm, quiet, and peaceful because there were hardly any people. I could admire how well- maintained the gardens were across the campus, the flowers, and the grassy fields. Also, since it's fall, the leaves on the trees are changing colors, with beautiful shades of green, yellow, and red. My favorite part was the wildlife, seeing all those little squirrels and birds all around the campus as I walked. I also discovered many new beautiful and peaceful spots to go study.

During the walk, it was quite warm, about 71 degrees, which felt very strange for a Sunday at the end of October. However, this heat was accompanied by a cool breeze that made everything much more pleasant on my skin. The sound of the leaves and the wind was very relaxing, but then I put on my headphones and listened to some of my favorite calming music, which consists of piano songs.

I really enjoyed this hike, I was able to let go of a lot of anxiety, stress and I was able to clear my mind and connect more with nature. It was also a moment where I was able to reflect on life and my quiet life. The few people that were there were students, some were going to the gym, others to study, or else they were employees of our community. Most of them must have gone home or stayed in their rooms and missed this beautiful fall day. Also as you walk around the campus you can learn about its history from the memorials made in memory of those who have made important contributions to this school community.

The rhythm of my walk was calm, slow and relaxed. Following the rhythm of the music I was listening to, or else I would also sometimes stop in one place for a moment to admire deeply and take a big sigh.

The campus has a unique structure. It has a combination of modern and historical buildings since it was founded many years ago. The grounds are always well maintained and the public spaces are designed for students and faculty to make the best use of the facilities. What distinguishes the campus is probably the nature and its history: open green spaces are accompanied by study areas. There are also statues or student art that give identity and culture to the campus. During the walk I could understand that the main people who have access to this site are students, faculty and staff, also sometimes visitors or alumni could frequent this space. Also, this space is totally fenced off so access may be restricted at certain times or in certain buildings if you are not students or a staff of the community. In this area the most privileged then would be the students, me comprehended.
