The story in this book is exciting and includes quite a few moments that make you hold your breath! I love the wild woodland setting and the fact it delves into a history topic you don’t often hear about: the Stone Age.

But Hazel is forbidden to do any murder mystery’s… This is the type of book for a person that loves reading and loves murder mystery’s.

There are 5 elements but one is to not be spoken of, the death element. The 4 other ones are water 💧 fire 🔥 earth 🌍 and air.
Skandar’s unicorn is called Scoundrel’s luck, he is a death element, but he was disguised as a water unicorn.

Skandar and his friends make some daring choices, they go out to find the weaver who is also a death element. Surprisingly the weaver is Skandar’s mum.

If you like daring choices I recommend the book!

This book is about how the famous Harry Kane grew up and became the legend he is. It says all about his childhood dreams, injuries,ups,downs and everything else. Harrry Kane grew up watching Daved Beckam and always wanted to play for his country and bring it home.They were so close to doing so but lost to Italy by ONE GOAL NOOOOO!!!!!!!!!

He started by playing with his bother and father then at about the age of 4 went to a football stadiam and when they were in the car and his dad pretended to have forgotten the tickets [hahahahahahahaha.] Sadly his team Tottenham lost 2:1 to Arsenal and was very disappointed and sulked the for the rest of the day [hahahahahahahahahahahaha.]

He learnt the hard way by being kicked out of Ridgeway Rovers then Arsenal then Totnham,went out on lone then returned to Totnham and became a goal mechine and tied with Chealsy 2:2 and lost to Chealsy 4:2 but continued unscathed and AMAZINGLY WON THE GOLDEN BOOT TWICE IN A ROW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Then joined England [the best team in the world totally.]He ended up getting to the semi finals but went down to Croatia 2:1 in 2017.,Somehow also recived the captins armband and got player of the season award too! Now he will continue to at Totnham until the world cup in which he will use his star stratergies to lead his team to victory.[Ihope.]

This wonderful book is about a girl called Sophie and a Big Friendly Giant (BFG).At the start Sophie was scared/petrified of this humongous creature but then they worked out the only way to stop 9 non-friendly giants,was to work together and team up.Let me explain,there were nine (9) giants that eat people-they snatch the children out of their bedrooms at night.Why at night you may ask? Because if they come during the witching hour then it will be extremely dark so no one can see the giants. If it was not night when they came it would be nice and bright and most people would probably see the giants and tell their parents or their grandparents or even their child-minders. Now Sophie did not have parents like most of us would,all she had was people in a dormitory .If she was ever caught after lights out they would be severely punished as she lives in an orphanage.Oh by the way an orphanage is a place where children live if they grow up without parents.So let’s talk about the friendship between this BFG and Sophie,so the BFG snatched Sophie out of her bed 🛌 and brought her to Giant Country where she had nothing to eat apart from disgusting 🤮 snozzcumbers although she did like the only drink that was surprisingly nice.Its name was ‘Frobscotter’.This was a pleasant and very enjoyable book. I would highly recommend it to anyone in this school because this is an amazing book.You may ask what is so good about this, well I like the way it uses its speech and language.

Mr Gum is the meanest person you will ever know. He hates children and is never nice. Mr Gum has a long orange beard and crooked eyes and the most horrible face you could imagine.

In this story, we get to meet Mr Gum for the first time and hear about Jake, a giant whopper of a dog, who comes bouncing over Mr Gum's fence and leaves a little present.

This is a well written and funny story by Andy Stanton and makes me laugh.

My favourite bits of the story are Mr Gum getting whacked by a frying pan from the fairy who comes out of his bath and when he misses 10 episodes of bag of sticks which is just a picture of a bag of sticks for half an hour.

My favourite book is Harry Potter and the chamber of secrets. This book is all about a boy named Harry Potter who survived a death curse. He’s the only person known to survive it. But that was when he was one. In this magical story Harry has to save his best friend Ron’s Little sister Ginny form a a type of snake called a basilisk. If you look at basilisk in the eye eye it will kill you if you say it’s reflection then you will only get petrified. His other friend Hermione Got petrified by the basilisk. Not just a Hermione got petrified though lots of other people did to. To Save Ginny Harry had to destroy the basilisk. In the end he managed and everyone was safe but he had another year of Hogwarts ahead of him.

I like this book because lots of things go a bit wrong for Tom. He gets very worried about not going to Julia's party and writes a sad poem that says "I'm NOT invited to the really fun party how bad is that (bad)" and starts to get quite jealous but in the end he gets his invitation. He also goes to Crambly castle with his sister Delia, his parents and grandparents.

I highly recommend this book because its quite entertaining and passes a lot of time when you're bored

This book is very good because while teaching you tricks and cheats, it also gives you a basic guide to minecraft. The only thing I don't like about this book is that it is from 2016 so most of the cheats would've been outdated. I like it because it tells you the little things of minecraft that most players don't know, like if you place down iron bars arrows can go through them. I reccomend all minecrafters have a read of this book as it contains a decent amount of knowledge.

I like this book because it’s interesting and serious. It’s quite funny, to be honest though.For the characters in the book it’s EXTREMELY scary, but for me it’s kinda scary-ish not really. This book is about an orphan boy who lives at this orphange Called harrklights. The owner is called Miss Bogett but as they call her, old Ma Bogey. Old Ma Bogey replaces their names with new names. She creates these names using things from her office.
The boy is called Wick and has a friend called Petal. If one of these orphan people do something very bad, they get sent down the bottomless well. One day a new orphan comes. And also Wick makes these little house out of match sticks from newspapers. The boy gets called bottle top . Wick makes him a little soldier out of matchsticks to replace the one old Ma bogey took off him.
old Ma Bogey found out and sent Wick outside. Old Ma bogey comes outside, holding wicks little house models. She said one of the orphans told her. She then burnt the tiny houses down. After old Ma bogey left, Wick found a baby in n acorn about the size of a matchstick. The parents cone and the rest is for you to discover....

Demon dentist is one of my favourite books because the author is David Walliams, he does good, funny books! The story is about a boy called Alfie and he had rotten teeth. So he had to go to the dentist. The dentist (doctor ancient) tried to pull out his tooth but he couldn’t so he had to call the other patients to help him pull out the tooth! The strength of all the patients crushed the tooth but it was the wrong tooth that got crushed! I really like the story because there are lots of jokes in it and they make me laugh. The main character of the book is my favourite because, she’s mischievous as well as a lovely, warm hearted girl.

It’s a book about a boy named Horrid Henry and he wanted to
make the babysitter leave and never come back.
He wanted the babysitter to leave because she was mean
and ugly. The babysitter found a spider on the floor and Henry came to help her but he said we have to make a truce first. The truce was he can stay up and eat ice cream if he gets rid
of the hairy spider. But Rebecca, the babysitter, said no go to bed. So Henry brings the spider from behind his back to scare her.
In the end horrid Henry gets away with it and the babysitter leaves.

This book is about a jealousy and there are many stories in it the first one is about a girl being jealous of her sister, the girl Kelly feels like she is being left out and her sister is getting all the fun by staying at home and not going to school because she has chickenpox. The second story is about Danny being jealous of his cousins getting a bike for Christmas and the third story is about Kate and Jenny and Kim, they are friends and Kate is jealous because she feels left out and thinks that Jenny likes Kim more. I like the book because all the three stories are interesting. My favourite character was Kelly because the story was nice to read and the ending is good. I would give the book 5/5.

Dogman Mothering Heights is a comic book about Peteys childhood.
It has lots of pictures and I liked the book because it was funny and interesting. My favourite character would be Petey as he has become good after being so bad in his childhood. I would rate it 4 out of 5 as i really enjoyed reading it and loved Peteys childhood story.

This is about a boy called Sam and he wishes that it was his birthday every day, but then as you would expect it got boring.So he becomes very spoiled and rude to his parents and sometimes wants even more presents.But when he wished ,he wished on a star which has now fallen out of the sky.Now, he wishes that it wasn’t his birthday every day because he doesn’t think it is worth it anymore.Also while it was his birthday his, grandpa went missing so that is part of the reason why he wants his birthday to end. Sam and his family could then focus/concentrate on finding his grandpa who he loves very much.
I highly recommend this book because it is very entertaining to read.The message behind the book is that you need to be careful for what you wish for as too much of a good thing can sometimes get repetitive. You should focus on what you have got instead of being greedy and worrying about what you haven’t got.

I really enjoyed reading this book because it was fantastically funny.
It’s about a boy called Horrid Henry, he builds himself a time machine and how he tricks his younger brother Perfect Peter. He made him think he went back into time. Which is a successful prank for Henry.
It’s really funny how it turns out in the end! Perfect Peter strickes back, Henry dines at Restaurant Le Posh and he is made to go on a hike.
My favourite part in the book was the note which Henry wrote to Miss Battle Axe (chapter 3). It really made me laugh.

I recommend this book.

I love a book called Harry Potter and I especially love Hermione and Ginny. Harry is the main character and he is famous because a bad person called Voldemort tries to kill his parents, which he does. Then he tries Harry but Harry survives but he gets a lightning mark on his forehead. There is a boy called Ron and a girl called Hermione and they are his friends. In the next book a girl called Ginny joins the school and she is Ron’s little sister and if you carry on until the last book Ginny and Harry get married and have kids. This is such a great set of books, read them if you haven’t!

Dog Man is an amazing book. It is very funny and I finished it in a day because I was so interested.
Its about this police officer and his dog, Greg. They both got injured at the start, Officer Knight who hurt his head and Greg who injured his body. The doctors did not know what to do but then, they thought of an amazing idea! They put Greg's head on Officer Knight's body! They were relived. Meanwhile in cat jail, an evil cat called Petey is planning to escape and when he does he finds out about DOG MAN on the newspapers. He knows where the station is and Cheif is aware Petey escaped, after, he warns Dog Man and still, Dog Man is not careful. Petey makes an invention to DESTROY Dog Man and he escapes and Petey goes back to cat jail.
My favourite character of this great book is Dog Man because he is the hero of the story. The book is a comic book that I would recommend it to anyone.

The wild robot is a lovey story, let me tell you a bit about it.

When Roz the robot opens her eyes for the first time, she discovers that she is alone on a wild island. Roz has no idea how she got there or what her purpose is - but she knows that she needs to survive. As Roz solwly becomes friends with the animals, she even becomes a mum and the island starts to feel like home - until, one day, Roz's unknown past comes back to hunt her down..... In the wild robot escapes Roz is taken away from her island home leaving Brightbill her adopted son behind. Roz has to work in the city like a normal robot. All Roz wants to do is escape and get back to her family, her friends and her home.

I enjoyed these books because they are so sweet, I felt sorry for poor Roz and her son Brightbill, she was a special robot and i didnt want to stop reading because i was desperate to find out how her journey would end.
P.S. In the second book even my mum cried......<3

I like this book because I love Ronaldo. I love him as he does amazing skills and tricks. And I want to be like him when I grow up. Because he’s amazing. If you like Ronaldo or United you will love this book just like me. Because I like Ronaldo too.

Rowley Jefferson's spooky stories is a great book for people who want to be spooked. It contains all the regular monsters (Vampire, Werewolf, Mummy Etc.) and is good inspiration to spooky story writers. The author, (Jeff Kinney) is a genius. He is also American! I liked that all the stories aren't scary at all, but make you laugh.

This book is about a prince called Alfred and he lives in Buckingham Palace, where there is absolutely NO light or sunshine. He is a sickly boy of twelve, where as his father is as lost as his kingdom! His father has a loyal servant called the Lord Protector (which turns out to be not so loyal after all). Alfred has someone to take care of him, and he calls her Nanny. (but little did he know, was that Nanny was trying to POISON him with here Eggy - Weggs) (But WORST OF ALL is that Nanny is the Lord Protectors MOTHER!) So, there is some people that are enemies of Buckingham Palace and they are called The Revolutionaries because, in the book they burnt down St Pauls Cathederal... but the person who was behind all of it was the Lord Protector! But he blamed it all on The Revolutionaries! So The Revolutionaries were good after all! He also met a little girl that was an orphan. And her name was Mite! What about Alfred's mother (the queen) ? You ask. Ah, yes she went to The Tower of London because the King ordered her to go there because she got caught even though she was INNOCENT!

This is an EXTREMELY GREATTTTTT book I recommened you read it!

The African player shot it was going top corner but Suarez stuck out his arm and saved it! He got a red card and got sent off the pitch the African side had a penalty the player took it and missed!
As the World Cup was in Africa he became a villain and everyone booed him.

If you like football I recommend this book.

This book was really good book because it has some really funny characters like Moon Face which makes my brother laugh. My favourite chapter is A Lesson For Dame Snap. At the end of the book, Saucepan takes the children to the amazing land of Tea Parties.

This is a book about a mysterious world. The charcters in this book are Lucy,Edmond,Steven and Casper. They are all siblings. They enter a wardrobe that sends them off to a magical ,different world. In the magical world they meet a fawn called Mr Tumness who offers to help them. They meet the queen who turns out to be the great white witch. But then they try and get home from this land which is known as Narnia.
On the way home Edmond goes missing,and they blame each other for his disappearance.

I haven’t finished the whole book yet but I have an idea what is going on. I don’t think it’s my favourite book but I recommend it for the reader who likes adventure stories. Don’t be put off but it has around 200 pages. I would rate this book 3/5.This is not my type of book because it is purely fiction . I prefer non-fiction books,however this book uses very creative language though.

Matt and Tom Oldfield have written these spectacular Ultimate/ Classic Football books. In this review, I am going to be telling you about Mbappe's career and his life.

We start off with Mbappe being not too old, about nine years old, when Mbappe signs up for Monaco. He starts off with Fabhino and more good future players.

After a few years of playing, Mbappe signs up for PSG, France's main league team. As you read this book, you will notice Mbappe competes in a few World Cups against other teams.

Did you know, in 2018, France won their golden national trophy, the World Cup? 🇫🇷 🏆

I personly rate this book 5/5. I really enjoyed it. If you like football, I recommend this book.

Even if you don't like football, I would still think you would find this book reasonably good, because you get the feeling you're in the stadium cheering Mbappe on.

This book is about Ani and her sister Payton. Their mother has this sort of fever called 'water fever'. Their dad is trying to save the mother while Payton wants to become a medic and wants to help her dad save the mother. Ani discovers this boy who has Midas fingers, he is named Kitt. As one of the few Asians in her small Texas town, Christina and her Iranian-American best friend is nervous about trying out but determined to give their best to get in the cheer they make it through the 1 round but lose the 2 round her best friend don't want to talk to everyone but the dices to take the story tell what in the paper and Christiani came 1st and her best friend came 2nd and Megen came 3 past. When she went to a office and she looked behind in case and there was a BIG DOG But then she noticed that his badge and he was PROFESSOR LOCKJAW AND THEN THEY DISAPPEARED. One day the principal announced that they will have a Parkour activity race. Ms. Marvel and her team practices and practices every week and day. 3 weeks later, they had the Parkour activity race and they race and race until they finished. The Final results 1st place was Nova, America, WaSP. 2nd was Amadeus Cho, Patriot, Ironhearts.
3rd was Moon girl, Devil Dinosaur.
4th was Ms. Marvel, Spider-Man, Squirrel Girl
And lastly was Kid Immortus, Kid Apocalypse, Max Frankenstein, Death Locket: DISQUALIFIED.
Even when Ms. Marvel and her team did not win at least they did not get DISQUALIFIED, But then some one from Kid Immortus and Kid apocalypse, Max Frankenstein, Death locket team And he is called Evan and Evan really don’t like his team because he thinks that they don’t like him and they don’t and at the same time Evan thought he was evil but Ms. Marvel was glad he told her that. Now Evan is on Ms.Marvels team now a few years after they hang out every day until the day that Kamala had to move to back to Jersey City. Kamala had a great time being there but they will still see each other again..

I would recommend this book because it’s very interesting and meaningful!

One day, he builds a machine that combines 1 to 5 elements. So he combines himself with a robot, but at the last second, he sneezed. In the end he got combined with a robot, and his boogers. Figure out if The Bionic Booger Boy gets split up into Melvin, OR will he spend the rest of his life being gross. My favourite character would be Harold Huchins, the illustrator of Captain Underpants. I would give a five out of five star rating. I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys Graphic Novels or Dav Pilkey Books.

This book is about Erling Haaland and his journey to becoming a footballing hero.
The book starts when Haaland was only 2 years old, it tells you about the football teams he's played for throughout his youth.

Then it starts to tell you about when he signs his first senior contact to play for the first team, and the clubs he goes on to play for. Also it describes what he goes onto achieve for club and country.

My favourite part of the story was when he won his first trophy and also when he gets called up to play for Norway.

I think this book would be better if it had pictures of some of the best moments in his career.

I recommend this book because, it’s got a gripping storyline and incredible detail! I enjoyed reading this book because of everything it includes. It’s description, it’s characters, the clues along the way etc. This book is about a school mistress being murdered at DeepDean School for Girls. There are these two girls Daisy Wells and Hazel Wong who have a detective society which includes the two of them! They have to discover what happened to Miss Bell (the mistress who was murdered), find out who did it and why they did it. It’s a lively mystery that you yourself can try and solve whilst reading it too! Or, you could just read it and wait and see to find out who the real murderer is!

This is such a good book!

How to be more hedgehog is a lovey book, there are sad bits but that dose not stop Lilly finding her brave.
Lilly's mum and dad had a divorce!
Lilly's brother is really mad at her dad.
Lilly has one friend (not) I do see how Lilly feelings relate to a hedgehog. Lilly has a stuttering problem and because of that Lilly's friend is...NOT HER FRIEND NOW. Its so sad at that point that someone she did not talk to HAD to go to her house but that's when they be come friends! The next day Lilly's teacher said "We have to do a school project" bear in mind Lilly dose not have a phone but her dad got her one in the nick of time. So now Lilly has a NEW PROPPER friend and a NEW PHONE and Lilly starts a you tube account and finds her BRAVE she dose not care about her stutter problem anymore. The day comes to show her school project (she did plan it out with.....HER NOT FRIEND ANNYMORE.)
So they get through it and get to the end and that's when Lilly gets to her last slide. She presses a link to her you tube account and plays her video
WITH HER STUTTERING but Lilly dose not care about it! there was silence and then LOTS OF CLAPS!!!!!! now Lilly has a new phone, a new PROPPER FRIEND and she found her brave.

I think this is an amazing book by Ross Welford he’s the one who came in for an author visit. I love this book and it’s about this girl call Georgina and she loves dogs but she is not allowed one because her dads girlfriend (who lives with them) is allergic to dogs. But a virus started to appear it was called CBE this virus started with dogs causing all stray dogs to be shot and any owners who didn’t want the deathly virus to send their dogs to sleep. Georgina met this old woman called doctor pretorious who invented the future machine where Georgina puts on this special helmet to see the future and it tells you what’s happens in the future helping them win the Jordy jackpot (the lottery). Towards the end Georgina goes to the future to find the cure for the virus she makes her dog (one she stole from the dog orfinage) mr mash swallow the cure in a cake. Then back in the normal time line for her mr mash spits out the cure. Then 1 year later everything is back to Normal no virus.

Harry Potter and the prisoner of Azkaban is an amazing book for Harry Potter lovers. I think this book is aimed at kids age 10. It is a brilliant adventure story with twists and turns. There are three main characters their names are Harry, Ron and Hermione. They have to find Sirius Black and work out who is working with Voldemort. I would definitely recommend reading it.

This book is about a boy called Barry. One day he wishes that he had better parents because they had the following characteristics:-

-And never put enough effort into his birthday.

That is something that he despises his parents for. So when he says he wishes he had better parents, his bedroom that he is in starts to shake. He then gets teleported to a place called the ‘Parent Agency’,which is where we can pick his new mum and dad. But At the end, the parent agency people asked him which mum and dad he wants, but……He doesn’t pick any, in fact he picks his normal mum and dad that he lived with at the beginning. So that is a short summary of a 410 page book.The moral of this story is that be glad and grateful for the parents you have as they could be a lot worse in some cases.

I recommend this book because it is fun, it creates suspense towards the end, and last but not least it is a long book which entices the reader want to read more.This book is also quite humorous with all the intricate details to make the book interersting. The Author is David Baddiel.

She gets new friends and makes an exciting adventure . But beware she gets in trouble along the way. I recommend reading this book if you love adventures mysterious and action. This amazing book was made by Lindsay Calvin author of amazing and fun stories. Please enjoy the book it’s in our school library and it was part of the spark 9-10 last year. It was a runner up.

Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone

This is probably the best book I have ever read. It has magic, drama and a really good story.
I would recommend you to be aged 6 or over to read this book because the story includes blood and frightening scenes which will make you jump . This story is based on a boy called Harry Potter who gets invited from Hagrid, the Schools guard, to Hogwarts. Hogwarts is a magical school with monsters you can only dream of. When reading the book, watch out for the dangerous Fluffy, a three headed dog that is similar to Cerberus from Greek mythology.

Will Snape, a magical teacher, and Voldermort, a zombie like human ghost, defeat Harry Potter and his friends Ron and Hermione and get the Philosopher's Stone that has the power of immortality?!.

I found this book very interesting and good, it is definitley one of my favourites! The words that might be hard for some children always have an explaining after them and i found it very helpful. This book is about 3 children (the baudlaires) who after their last house with count olaf, a terrible man who tried to steal their parents fortune, went to visit their uncle Monty. He has a reptile room with undiscovered animals and one animal called 'the deadly viper' although, the deadly viper is not deadly at all and is just a name for a joke uncle monty was going to play on his colleages after it bites him. Uncle Monty said they were going to fly to peru and play the joke on his colleages but he also said that there would be a partner coming with them. His name was Stephano, but dont be fooled, Count Olaf was behind the mask of stephanos true identity... This book is 10/10 recommened i enjoyed it alot and cant wait to read the rest of the series!

The storey tree houses books are a series of books which are based around 2 main characters Andy and Terry and their friend Jill. They live in the tree house and have exciting levels like a cheese land, exploding eyeball, a news network called Tree NN and lollipop robot. I enjoy reading the storey tree house books because there are lots of pictures of all the different levels, they are funny and the characters get up to all kinds of weird things and I like that every new book adds another 13 storeys to their treehouse. I would recommend these books to people who don’t really like reading that much as they are easy to read and it keeps it exciting and the pictures break up the amount of words.

Dog man a tale of the two kitties is my favourite book because it is a big adventure. In the start of the book we see George and Harold teling a funny story. Then the actual book is a cop and a dog both get in a accident after the ambulance goes to the hospital. And the docter says that the cops head is dead and the dogs body is dead. So the nurse lady said to sue the cops body to the dogs head and thats how dog man was created. Then a crimanal called petty escapes from jail. And makes a clone that was a kid instead of an adult because the instructions said to wait 18 years for it to be an adult. The clone is called lil petty. After petty makes a robot called 80-HD he gave the robot to lil petty and told lil petty to use it for evil. Then dog man is asked to make sure a fish called flippy is wated so the scientists can look at his brain. But they have to make a new flippy. So they do then a bird gets flippy and throws him in a gas then flippy comes back to life. And turnsbildings alive to. So lil petty comes and saves everyone in 80-HDs body but flippy atakes lil petty. But petty changes with lil petty. And flippy wants to destroy petty but lil petty saves him to an they all get away and flippy goes to jail and loeses his powers.

People thought he was strange until they realised that he was a refugee. And he had come back from a war in Syria 🇸🇾. They found out that he spoke Kurdish, and that he loved pomegranates. This book is called the iron man as you know already because. Of the front cover this a really cool book because it's based on a metal man.

So basically there is this town of villagers that use metal items. But the problem is that the iron man eats there metal. Every night he comes just to eat the metal.

So the villagers become smart about time they decide to dig this gigantic hole. So at dawn when the iron man arrives he well get attracted to the metal that the villagers put there for the trap.

A few days later and the massive hole is ready so the park the excavator next to the massive dirt pile to hide. The massive object " Night fall and the clunking of the iron man's boots get louder and louder" and then they stop. We hear the iron man jumping into the pit so then we set in the signal "now!".

They shout and the excavator starts and that massive dirt pile became nothing more than black soil. But the villagers started to celebrate.

Years go bye and a small family of four travel for a picnic they set up everything. It was beautiful that way but not for long. Minutes later rumbling starts followed by cracks now there was a deep hole emerging soon the cloth and the cooking pot are falling in to the hole now they were meaningless. Now the family ran as fast as the could ending up making it into the car and they drove off with a flash. They dissepeared the cracks stopped and a metal man emerged giant than before. But all that beautiful grass had to end and it did.

I believe i have to stop there so anyways bye. But i recommen you read this book. But again bye now!.

This is about a girl called Dorothy who lives with Aunt Em. Her house gets caught in a hurricane, and she lands in a forest. A witch from the North comes and says where do you come from, and she tells her where the Land of Oz is. Dorothy walks through the woods until she meets a scarecrow, a lion and a tin man. The scarecrow gets off his post and eats fruit. They go along the path together until they meet a woodman with a big axe. There are flying monkeys which catch Dorothy to send her to the wicked witch, but Dorothy melts her with water. There are twenty-four chapters. My favourite chapter was chapter 20, about the town in which everything was made out of china. On the back cover it says "There is no place like home."

I enjoyed this book because it had so many adventures and so many different things happening.

The Christmasauras and the Winter Witch is a brilliant book with lots of twists and turns. You will find the unexpected! In the book there is a boy called William Trundle who try’s to get the winter witch to pause time so William can save Christmas. Brenda Payne (his step sister) try’s to help William to reveal the winter witch’s identity. There is a message in the story about don’t regret any moment and live your life. It was definitely one of the best books I have read!!!

This book (which was made by J.K. Rowling) is about a boy (who had a scar) called Harry (who was taught by a professor called Professor Snape on how to protect himself from Lord Voldemort's savage assaults after the Dementors' attack on his cousin, Dudley and who met Professor Umbridge, the Hogwarts High Inquisitor.) She is cruel to Harry because she always makes him write " I must not tell lies" on a piece of paper every time he gets detention. And whenever he writes " I must not tell lies", this quote goes onto the back of his hand and it sometimes heals and sometimes doesn't!

I like this book because it has LOTS of magic, it is SO funny and it is REALLY interesting to read! If you want to read a bizarre book that has LOTS of magic and drama, then I would suggest that you should read the Harry Potter series, and you will LOVE it!

This book is about Scarlet going to Rookwood school. Ivy was the one to pass the entrance exam but Scarlet switched the results around. So Scarlet goes there but it was only a few weeks later that Ivy and Aunt Phoebe got a letter saying ‘Ivy is invited to Rookwood School to replace Scarlets place. Miss Fox comes to pick Ivy up but Miss Fox is cruel to EVERYONE in the school… she gives many canings.

Scarlet has left Ivy many diary entries hidden around the school each with clues to find the next page.

Ariadne (Ivy’s room mate) helps Ivy find the diary entries to really find out what Miss Fox has done to Scarlet.

I really would recommend this book it is amazing and I really have enjoyed it.

This is the brand new book of the diary of a wimpy kid series it is about school and Greg is in it let me introduce the characters:

Grey is the main character in the story and like’s video games.

Rodrick is Greg’s brother who is in a band and is in high school.

Greg’s mom who is very nice and does not like Rodrick playing the drums when manny is sleeping.

Manny he is Greg’s little brother and likes destruction with his toys.

Also the school that Greg goes to is closing because there test scores are very low. Greg goes to there their rival school slackvile middle school has no air conditioning but there the expectations are low and everyone is amazed because he can read a normal clock. His old school invented a new food type called fudge dogs and he introduced them to slackvile and then he has a date with a girl form his school called Sophie who’s dad is really famous he owns the biggest car dealerships in the world and his name is Larry Mack Junior whose dad has founded Greg close school his name was Larry Mack and he is rich but he is prison because he stole a lot of money from a bank to build the school.

This book is about Cece the main character, who lost her hearing so she has a phonic ear . Her best friend Ginny turns the lights off at a sleepover which make Cece upset. She stays mad at her for a very long time. Then Cece met Martha and became best friends with her. They spent loads of time together until they played it! Then Cece ran into the tree and hurt her eye. Martha got scared that she had hurt Cece and that Cece would be angry with her even though Cece didn’t care. Cece just wanted to play with her again, by the end of the book things worked out and they became friends again.

I would recommend the book to people who like different types of comic books and who are around year 4-6.

I would recommend this book because it includes friendship and drama. As he spawns into the Minecraft world, he has no clue whatsoever why everything is made of blocks. By the end of the book, the island's secret is revealed. Read the book to find out what or who it is. I would rate this book 5/5.

This is about a boy called Harrison who goes to a birthday party and gets given a black hole and he sucks lots of things into it. But he sucks in things that he loves and needs to find a woman called Shelly to help him get the things he loves out, however she is somewhere in a laboratory in South America. But to get his loved ones back he has to make the world disappear!

I liked this book because there is traveling and adventure.

This is a book about two boys called Stanley and Gene at a science fair and they both get gooey liquid spilt on them and then they turn invisible. Gene uses his abilities for bad whilst Stanley uses them for good. They also started a fight in Gene's lab with each other and eventually chilled and worked together to make a formula to make them visible again. In the end they become friends.

I liked this book because of the fighting and because their invisible. I recommend this book for graphic novel lovers and fans of Dog Man & Bunny Vs Monkey.

This is a funny book where Rafe goes to summer camp and meets his bunk mate, Booger Eater (Norman). His first night does not end up well as Rafe finds that his cabin is least popular. As Dollin (the bully) Keeps being mean about Rafe and his friends in his cabin and also weekly attack's them. Rafe gets fed up and wants to get his own back, but it end's up backfiring on him when he has to leave camp immediately.

This is a good book for people who like pictures and its really funny.

I like this book because it is set in a strange place, it has mystery and magic. The characters are interesting because they are very different. Every page leaves me wanting to read more!

Harry Potter And The Chamber Of Secrets

An extraordinarily good book I've read is Harry Potter And The Chamber Of Secrets by J.K Rowling. I'd give this book a fiver star rating because it has a mixture of humour, drama and suspense which I really like. My favourite character was and still is Ron Weasly. This is because he sometimes says something in the book that makes me laugh out loud. My absolute favourite scene is when everyone is in their transfiguration class when Ron's wand is broken and he furiously whacks it on his desk saying "stupid, useless, THING!" But overall, this has to be one of my favourite books.

Uncle Shawn and Bill is a funny story by A.L. Kennedy. Its about one HERIOC BADGER! who got kidnapped by 2 nasty sisters who are about to make him fight a boxing match against 3 even nastier dogs. They meet lots of interesting characters and have exciting experiences.

The book teaches us about the importance of friendship and how fun it can be to try new things. It's a great book for people of all ages because it's funny, exciting and heartwarming. If you like stories with lots of twists and turns, you'll love Uncle Shawn and Bill!

This is about an owl who is afraid of the dark. And his parents try to make him not scared. His name is Plop also. He met an old lady and she taught the owl what to do. Then the second night he met Boy Scouts at a campfire. And then he met a girl. And the barn owl went back up the tree. And they watched the fireworks. He met also a boy telling him that the dark is fascinating. I enjoyed the book because I enjoyed reading about the characters.
