Even in this course, whenever we have readings to do for class i always print mine off to read from paper, it's just a lot easier for me to read, rather than staring at a screen for so long. I think there needs to be a balance in life between print and electronic.

There is minimal way to get distracted but its not as easy as pointing a mouse on a computer to find what you are looking for. There also is disadvantages to online e-books such as, it is very very easy to get distracted. Both print books and e-books can be great tools, even in todays society, we just have to find the right time and place to use these resources.

However, I believe that if you are searching for information in a quick and easy format then online books / ebooks are the way to go. I personally still prefer using a print book as it is easy to multitask when working and I think it is important to not have our faces glued to a screen 24/7, especially for study purposes.

For me it can be quite therapeutic to turn a page and feel the paper as I'm reading. Although eBooks are convenient and save space by having it on one device, I definitely do not think they have taken over paper books. Technology may have taken control of this modern day age, however sometimes tradition must thrive and I don't see people's passion for books fading in the wake of eBooks.

They have been, and still are, the major source used by students to facilitate with learning, and in turn further educational success. In saying this, e-books are the future of education, and if education is looking to grow in the direction of technology integration, then e-books are a fantastic way to start this off. We must also take into consideration that different students learn in different ways, therefor the print books must be kept within education to ensure learning occurs to the fullest, along with e-books.
