         <description><![CDATA[<div>In Anglo-Saxon culture, there were many qualities and behaviors that were considered admirable, or of model behavior. They admired men with outstanding courage, and they believed in the importance of loyalty and being a leader to the tribe. Rulers were expected to be generous to those who were loyal. Everything was thought to be determined by an impersonal, irresistible fate, and everyone competed for fame, the only thing that ever lasted. The Anglo-Saxons had very specific ideals and cultural expectations. </div>]]></description>
