This washing machine detergent advertisement is very racist. It shows a black man being pushed into a washing machine and coming out as a man with different ethnicity. I think this ad is trying to show that the detergent is very powerful, and can clean of any stain or mess. However, using a black man to portray the message is an act of racism.

However, this advertisement is misleading and untruthful, for a coca cola, in reality, actually has 155 calories per bottle. The ad shows a slim woman, promoting the coca cola. This might make some people want to drink the coke in order to be like the woman.

I see a baby drinking Seven Up, a picture of the bottle in the advertisement and a paragraph about "Why we have the youngest customers in the business". I can see that the baby doesn't have any color in the picture, and only the bottle has color.

I think this ad is lowkey not that persuasive, just because your company has the youngest customers, so what? I think advertisement are dangerous and harmful. First look at the first add, it features a kid drinking alcohol and it even says we have the youngest customers.

Pretend we are kids and then we see this on the wall. What is your first reaction? Well it probably "hey dad can I have some money?" If you were the parent you would ask why but sometimes if the kid has money he will go to the store and buy it. This is hazardres for a couple reasons. First a kid brain will be harmed by alcohol and because it really addictive and the kid might just come buy it for a lot of time.

This is why advertisement are harmful and dangerous.

It also shows a person in the top left corner holding a thumbs up. The person is probably Jesus. I don't understand why Jesus would be on a phone ad. Plus, I'm guessing that the people behind this advertisement is probably selling these phones without the agreement of the official companies.

E) The advertisement is advertising 7up, which is a soda brand. In my own understanding, soda is a drink very harmful towards one's health. As a result, consuming too much of the drink is not recommended nor good for you. Since children requires lots of nutrients to grow, too much soda can result in an unhealthy diet as well as a bad habit. Furthermore, the advertisement uses the persuasive writing technique of ethos, using an image of a baby smiling while drink the soda, in order convince the audience it can be trusted and it's very delicious.

E) However, young kids might be encouraged or get influenced by the advertisement very easily since they are still immature at a young age.

L) In conclusion, in my opinion, the advertisement of 7up is a catchy advertisement, catching the attention of many people especially young kids. In reality, the advertisement may be more harmful and dangerous than we thought.

(E) For example, in the ads we've analyzed in English language and literature class, there are many that have faced controversies due to its way of presenting its message, or the incorrect information it was spreading.

(E) This shows that not all advertisements are helpful, accurate, or true. Advertisements carrying false information or setting false values should be labeled as dangerous, for it can flood one's mind with these disruptive thoughts.

(L) This shows that advertisements can be dangerous.

This is a very inappropriate ad because the way it is promoting the product is just very bad; racist. In the ad, the white Asian girl threw the black man in the washing machine because she doesn't like him. After throwing him in the washing machine and adding the promoting product, the man became an Asian, which is what the girl is hoping for.

I believe this ad is trying to promote the product buy meanwhile saying bad things about black people. The black man is basically like the dirty laundry and the Asian guy that appeared is the clean, fresh laundry. But I think this is not the best way to promote this product because I believe the people that saw this ad will focus on the black man more and not the product they are trying to promote.

These are the reasons why I believe this ad will have harmful effects to people.

See: I see an event that has 2 endings. The bad ending is when the woman exits a Ford Focus (symbolizing other brands' cars) on the left and the Grim Reaper comes up and she gets hit by a truck. The good ending is when the woman exits a Hyundai Veloster and she does not get hit because the Veloster only had the back doors on the right side (safe side) so she exits on the right.

Think: I think this is a realistic comparison between other brands' cars and the Hyundai Veloster. The Veloster actually makes exiting the car on the side of the road safer because it only has the back doors on the right side. I don't think this works in every country though as each country has different driving directions. (At least it works for Taiwan :) Hooray)

Wonder: Why do people find this advertisement offensive? I do not think that this is offensive but rather realistic, as you can easily get hit by a vehicle if you exit on the road side and not the pavement side.

Think: I think this ad is telling that black people are bad because the woman didn't want her husband to be black so she "washed" him into white.

You can put white and black paint, or list the upgrades, or even just putting them side by side. Still, the OG black Playstation is superior.
