"The goal of the government and the Janjaweed was to remove all Africans from Darfur." The Africans were strongly not wanted in Darfur. 
"The SLA advocated for the autonomy of Darfur within Sudan and demanded that the government provide greater economic opportunity for Darfurians.... Some Arab groups have, in fact, allied themselves with the SLA, while certain black African groups have fought alongside Janjaweed forces." The Africans of Darfur were attacked because of the Sudan government.
"The mainly Christian and animist African peoples of the south (which is now the separate country of South Sudan) were largely excluded from the country’s administration. " In June 2007, the Sudanese government agreed to allow the United Nations (UN) to form a 26,000-member hybrid UN–AU peacekeeping force, though the bulk of these troops are not expected to deploy until 2008." This was an event that happened after the Darfur Genocide because of the Darfur Genocide.
