         <description><![CDATA[<div>People focus turned from the war and onto the women in the factories where the men that went off to work use to work. Women adapted to working outside their homes to make a living. Really didn't want to leave their jobs in the factories when the soldiers came back. The soldier that didn't return the women working in their place were forced to continue working <br>and supporting their families without the help of a man. his lead straight ti women earning the right to vote in 1920.</div><div><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<ul><li>During the 1920s Americans had extra money to spend, many bought things and appliances for their home and some bought radios.</li><li>The number of radios increased&nbsp; and were in more than 12 million households.</li><li>The most consumer product was the automobile ( Ford Model T $260 in 1924).</li><li>Cities swelled with skyscrapers housing new business, high-rise apartments building filled the cites with eager people.&nbsp;</li><li>with high employment people were indulging in the luxury thing they could not afford now with so many people working.</li></ul>]]></description>
