         <description><![CDATA[<p>-Understands work expectations for attendance and adheres to them. Notifies supervisor in advance in case of absence.</p><p>-I didn't feel well one day and was too sick/tired to call into work and let my supervisor know I wouldn't be coming in</p><p>-My students were left without a teacher and administration didn't have time to find someone to cover my classes</p><p>-Other teachers had to take turns helping to cover my classes- I also got a written warning (which can eventually lead to termination)</p><p>-I should have called in sick and followed the attendance policy</p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>-Understands work expectations for punctuality. Arrives on time to work, takes and returns from breaks on time and calls supervisor prior to being late. </p><p>-There ends up being a huge accident on my way to work and traffic is completely stopped- I end up being 30 minutes late for work</p><p>-My co-workers were looking for me this morning after I missed a meeting- my boss was notified that I was still not at work</p><p>-I ended up getting my 2nd written warning for being late and not calling my supervisor to explain what had happened, I am now placed on probation at work</p><p>-I should have called and explained what happened to my supervisor</p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>-Interacts and communicates with others in a friendly and courteous way. Shows respect for others' ideas, opinions and racial and cultural diversity. Effectively works as a member of a team.<br><br>-A member of a work team does not cooperate with his team members. He refuses to take into account any of the other team members ideas or suggestions.<br><br>-Becuase of this, the team may be unable to meet their end goal.          <title>Resolves Conflict  </title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>-Identifies the source of conflict, suggests opinions to resolve it and helps parties reach a mutually satisfactory agreement. <br><br>-Drew and Eric are arguing over who will become t he next manager of the store. The two coworkers start having a loud argument and one walks out and slams the door shut. <br><br>-The possible repercussions are that both of the employees get referrals. Customers could have see the argument and could have thought that the store would not be a suitable place to shop anymore. <br><br>-Drew and Eric could have instead have a calm discussion of why each one thought they would get the job of being the manager. <br><br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>-Demonstrates understanding of workplace policy and ethics.<br>-I used to work at a magazine where deadlines for articles weren't strict and you could turn work in late. I continued this practice when I was hired by a new magazine without knowing that deadlines were respected there.<br>-The rough draft of the magazine was not ready to be presented to the editor and she left the meeting, refusing to give feedback on any of the articles until they were all complete. My coworkers lost out on the chance to get her expert opinion. My supervisor then fired me for my incompetence.<br>-I should have asked around the office on the first day to get an idea of how lax the deadlines were. Or, even more responsibly, I should have turned my work in on time and not tested the limits at all because it is the right thing to do.<br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>-Dresses appropriately for the given position or job/maintaining personal hygiene<br>-Stacy has plans to go out clubbing with her friends after work, so she decided to skip the work attire and wear what she was going out in (in order to conserve laundry), her sequin tube dress.&nbsp;<br>-Stacy will receive a warning and some discontent looks. She also may be asked to go home and change, defeating her laundry conservation :(<br>-What Stacy should have done was bring a bag and pack her sequin tube dress and instead opt for the blouse and pencil skirt for her "day outfit"<br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>- Reads print materials in a variety of formats (signs, books, instruction sheets, forms, charts, etc.) to locate, understand, apply and manage information they contain.<br><br>-  Stacy was really tired from clubbing late last night and she had a new assignment.  This assignment required a lot of reading and being able to summarize what it said in a meeting happening in 5 hours.  Due to the fact she was tired, she did not quite understand what she was reading.  During the presentation, she was struggling to come up with the words to summarize her assignment. <br><br>-   She was yelled at in front of everyone and told that since it was her second warning in two days, she had to be very careful and and complete the assignment by morning and be able to leave an outstanding impression.  <br><br>- Stacy should have warned her boss or tried to focus more (coffee)</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>- Uses job-related tools, technologies, and materials appropriately<br>- I work at a marketing firm and the advertisement was supposed to be made with iMovie but I made it with Windows Movie Maker at home.<br>- The computers at our work only supported iMovie, and our group had to spend the day converting the files. This caused our company to lose time and money.<br>- I should have learned to use iMovie and asked my coworkers for help. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>- Accepts direction, feedback and constructive criticism with positive attitude and uses information to improve work performance. Demonstrates flexibility when nature of work changes.<br>- Mark told Nancy  that her presentation was a little boring she needed to add visuals and use fewer words in the presentation.<br>- Nancy took it personally and go mad at Mark. She threw a glass across the room, and stormed out.<br>- Mark was both was both emotionally and physically hurt. Mark will never criticize or help Nancy improve her work again.<br>-Nancy never changed her presentation and did not get the company the job.<br>-Nancy should have taken into consideration what Mark had suggested, and been thankful for his help. As a result her presentation may have been successful and the company may have got the job. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div><br>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; -Nelly &amp; Nate-<br><br>-Gives best effort, evaluates own work and utilizes feedback to improve work performance. Strives to meet quality standards and provides optimal customer service.&nbsp;<br><br>-Bob does not care about his job at Dunkin'. Bob realizes that he accidentally put milk in the coffee of a customer of allergic to milk, but is too lazy to fix it, so he gives it to the customer anyways and blames it on Jeffery when the customer confronts him.&nbsp;<br><br>-The customer now associates Dunkin' with anaphylactic shock and no longer likes the coffee shop. Jeffery is left dealing with the ill customer and now<em>&nbsp;really&nbsp;</em>does not like Bob.&nbsp;<br><br>-Bob got fired from his job for being so careless about an allergy and for not following company standards. Dunkin' gets a lawsuit and charged for the customer's medical bills.&nbsp;<br><br>-Bob should have remade the coffee. Bob should have not been a jerk.&nbsp;</div>]]></description>

No one took initiative and everyone was confused on what role they had to perform in the group<br><br>- When no one in the group took charge, the project was delayed and then the project was not done at the due date. <br><br>- The group should have designated one person to take charge and give people in the group jobs to perform.</div>]]></description>

         <title>Solves Problems with Math (Nate)</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>-Works with mathematical information (numbers, symbols, etc.), procedures, and tools and applies skills to answer a question, solve a problem, verify the reasonableness of results, make a prediction, or carry out a task that has mathematical dimensions. <br><br>-An accountant at a firm is not the best at solving math problems in his head, so when asked to quickly analyze and record documents, he makes multiple mistakes at various stages that become very hard to spot and correct. He submits the work without checking it over. <br><br>-Because of these mistakes, the company has multiple errors in their records and they likely will be spotted by someone outside of the firm, and if not that, than a fellow employee will see that there is a mistake and will have to request the person who submitted the math go back and find it.  <br> <br>-Proficiency at math is a must for this type of field, so the person should have double checked his work before submitting it so that it did not interfere with the company's accounting records. </div>]]></description>

Communicates concerns clearly and asks for assistance when needed.<br><br>-Tanner works in a garage, he borrowed his friends tools and didnt let him know.
