I have never been a fan of the music, so this topic instantly made me think of it. The band that I chose is called Axe Vyper and I chose their song "Spirit of the Wind". Just as a background on my take of the genre, I have always associated this music with chaos and violence. It is typically played in movies when some one is getting in a bar fight, or something of that sort. After listening to the song, that opinion remains. It is not just this one though, but other songs in the genre. I found the song difficult to review because the music is so much louder than the singing that I could not hear much of what the song was about. It took me multiple listens to get just a gist of the topic. The song is basically just about being wild and following fear with violent backgrounds. Not my cup of tea. However, I do see why the genre has fans.
