  • Summary: The main character, Stevie, is a seventeen-year-old girl who is sent to an eating disorder treatment center far from her home. However, she plans to die by suicide in the midst of the treatment, on the one-year anniversary of the day she killed her brother.
  • I would give this book a score of 4.5/5. I think it has all the components of a solidly good book: hard-hitting messages, interesting characters, well-contained plot, and simplistic but beautiful writing. The reason why I didn't give it a 5/5 because it didn't 🤬 completely out of the water, but otherwise, it's amazing.
  • I would recommend this to a friend only if they're comfortable with the trigger warnings I've listed above. I think this book can be very heavy, even for people who have never experienced the things Stevie has before. For people who are okay with reading this, then I would definitely recommend this book because of its nuance and care in explaining taboo subjects.

  • I give this book a 4/5 rating. The mythology could get a little confusing, there was little explanation of the magic and sorcery.

It is a sad, heartbreaking story, but there is action in almost every chapter in the book. At first it's a little slow to the plot, but it gets very good in the middle, and the end is pretty shocking.
    - I would recommend this to a friend. There is action and lots of suspense in each chapter. It was overall such a good book because of all the twists and turns, and a great mystery.   • Allie has a learning disorder which makes it difficult for her to read and write. She is bullied her entire life until she gets switched to a new teachers class, who acknowledges that she is different from everyone else and makes an effort to actively help her. 
  • I would give this book a 3/5. I liked the plot but I feel like it's moving a bit too slow and there isn't enough conflict however when there is conflict, it's usually a big deal and is important to the development of the story. 
  • I would recommend this book to a friend who likes books about what makes people unique and different in a way that isn't really spoken about.

    -I would rate this book a 2/5. I feel that this book had an interesting storyline, but it takes a long time to get to the climax. The story pulls on for a while and gets a bit repetitive in the middle.
    - I would recommend this book to a friend because even though I did not enjoy this book in particular, I do think that many of my friends would enjoy the style and genre of this book.

  • I would give this book a 3/10 because of the poor combination of complicated and unnecessary words. There is also no clear message or theme, and the story is very boring and dragged on.

    I will rate this book 3.5/5 because all of the stories are very engaging with their unique stories and connections. But it is kind of hard to follow each story because it rotates through all 3 characters between going back to the first. So its really easy for you lose track of the plot between the characters if you haven't read it in a while. .

The book is really visual with its great art and has a really good story, only thing that at I know I felt was that as I keep getting invested in the book, I always end up finishing pretty early. I would like the story to be a bit longer than it is, but that's really it.

    The characters were interesting, and I enjoyed the message behind the book. I was able to understand the authors writing style very well, which doesn't happen  often.

    Yes, I would reccomend this book to anyone from the ages 14+ to read this book, as there are a few sensitive topics mentioned in this book.
