Shout out to Joanny for her calm demeanor in class, regardless of what is going on! We had an entire case of hand sanitizer fall off the wall and spill mid class, and Joanny handled the entire situation so calmly, allowing class to continue so scholars' learning was uninterrupted!

If you want to see a calm and caring teacher presence even in the midst of chaos please do urself a favor and observe Ms. Donovan. She perfectly models a responsive classroom. She States the direction, scans for follow through, proactively reminds, reinforces, redirects and makes sure she checks in with students who need it often while being the only teacher in the classroom. We are so lucky to have her on our staff
