I found this album to overall be very enjoyable as a fan of his music and unique style and sound. I found this album to be an improvement in growth as his last one left me disappointed and bored. Though some people find that most of his music has stayed the same since his debit in 2008, I find that he has been able to explore his own sound and grow in talent and maturity since when he started. I saw the two musical elements of speed and sadness in his album. Speed is used as a tool to express his songs and singing style, in which he writes slower to songs to sing longer notes. Sadness is a theme with him as heartbreak and lost love is a thing he writes mostly about.
