it was both good and bad for different people. for children it was obviously bad because they didn't get paid. most people were put out of jobs because machines could do it for them- poppy

It is a bit of both, good because machines were made and less people had to work in factories. bad because more machines are being used and made, and this is causing more bad gasses and greenhouse gasses which as we know now, that has not helped climate change.

Overall, I think that the Industrial revolution was more bad and has had a big, negative, long lasting impact on the world more than it being a good thing. The reason I say that is because children were being used, injured, and put into dangerous and traumatizing positions and experiences they shouldn't of been forced to have been through. Factories are dangerous places for all people. It also has a huge negative effect/ impact on the environment. Although I will admit that factories have helped us out a lot, I'm sure that there is a way that we can work around the disadvantages and negative and use maybe different methods and/or materials in the factories and make them more safer of places. Or we could just make everything without factories and close to little machines (extremely dangerous, toxic etc.). Factories damaged the world, taking away its natural beauty, polluting it. The Earth was once a healthy place but we have been destroying it and factories play a big part to it ad at this rate who knows how polluted and ruined the world will be in years to come! It increased child labor and injures a lot of people, or killing them and could be the cause for current or future diseases to come and health problems/ issues.

I would suggest that the development of factories was in-between because yes more independent machinery was being used, more peoples' job was being sacrificed almost causing more and more people to become unemployed. Factory owners probably befitted the most from this because more children were being employed from all different orphanages which will give the owner and factory more profit. In conclusion, I would suggest that factory development was an inbetweener.

I think that economicaly, the factories were very beneficial because people could purchase products for a very cheap price, and it gave poor people a chance to earn money in a society where it is very difficult to do so. However the conditions in the factories were appaling, there were no saftey gides and people were getting injured commonly, additionaly kids worked from an extreemely young age and were no offered any compensation when injured. so overall, I think that factories have been verry in
