Early on in Helen’s life she became very sick the doctors said she would die, but luckily she didn’t. The Keller family met Annie Sullivan at the train station and brought her to Helen. They did not bond at first and Helen would often lose her temper. Finally after days of practice Helen learned her first word “water”. After that Helen kept on learning new words until she discovered writing.
