I am Ella Meehan S. Calonia, a student of AdDU senior high school. I'm the eldest daughter of my family. Some might think of me as kind, timid, and shy. Well, I think that's true, as I'm quite an introvert. Despite my timidity, whenever I'm with people or my friends, I get comfortable, and that's when I become talkative.

On a typical day, I would check my messenger or scroll down on my Facebook app to check on my friends. I don't really post anything on my social media, as I'm quite shy about it. After I check my friends, I often go to Instagram to watch some reels and share them in my close friends group chat. In that group chat, me and my friends share random memes or cat memes that we think are relatable. There are also times that I go on TikTok to watch some videos. I also watch YouTube, but only rarely, as I enjoy Instagram Reels or TikTok. Whenever I have free time, I watch Kdramas, but not that often because of how busy I am with school, so I would often choose to read some webtoons because they are much shorter and I can read at my own pace. Speaking of school, I also use media as a way to learn and aquire new learnings. Thanks to Youtube, messenger and google, Im able to connect with my classmates and learn my lessons independently but of course I do it with caution, attention and care as the internet is volatile and full of uncertainties. Thats why before I let my brain absorb anything, I would first verify the information, source and date in order for me to know if its a fact.

Why do I like these media?

I like these media for the reason that its relatable and entertaining to me. In this, I find my interests and I'm able to connect with my friends even if we are far apart. In addition to that, I'm also able to learn some information and pick up lessons.

How are these media influencing or affecting me? (my lifestyle, aspirations, attitudes, behavior). Is this healthy? If yes, how come?

These media are influencing me, as this is where I learn and connect with people. I can say that these things became a part of my life. It shaped my lifestyle and how I perceive the world around me, as it feeds me various kinds of information. It also gave me inspiration and entertainment. In addition to that, in my perspective, it can be healthy depending on how I am able to make good use of it. If I use and consume these with control and caution, it will surely be beneficial for me and the people around me.
