-I found this project to be very interesting. One thing I was really surprised by was that the test showed me as only a 3% preference of introvert over extrovert. I've always considered myself someone who needs time alone to recharge my energy, so I was surprised to find that I can really lean either way when it comes to introverted vs. extroverted based on my answers, and I think that will be beneficial when working with others.
-For the Hartzell Needs Assessment, I wasn't surprised to find that I predominately have a high need for achievement. One thing to keep in mind is that I often like to take on the majority of the work in group situations because it can be difficult for me to place my achievement in someone else's hands, so for future collaboration, I need to be aware of that and make sure I am trusting the teacher to share the load with me. In addition, I'm someone who likes to make a plan and follow it, so I need to make sure I am remembering to be flexible and adaptable in a collaborative situation if things don't go according to my plan.
-I chose to do an infographic because I would like to print this out and have it hanging somewhere in the library (by my desk, on my office door, etc.). I would also like to email this to teachers and have an image they can refer back to easily.

This was my first time using Powtoons and enjoyed it. I've taken the myers-briggs assessment before, but as a young person I was always ENTJ. Now I'm INFJ. So, I've changed with age it would seem. I'm advocate instead of a commander. It makes sense with much of how I've dealt with my current position. However, I'm still ambitious. And when I found that achievement was my main motivation it made sense. If I feel I'm in an environment where I won't achieve, it makes sense I don't feel fulfilled.

We have some new student teachers who will be coming towards the end of this quarter and some new teachers starting in the fall, so I designed this infographic to go in a little gift basket to say welcome! I plan on putting other little things in there--candy, school supplies, that kind of thing--along with a couple of scholastic dollars so they can start building their libraries.
I was not at all surprised by my results for either personality test, but it really did make me think about my introversion. I think that generally speaking, school libraries are really not designed for introverts to thrive, and working on my approach is going to be key as I settle into my role. Taking the initiative to seek out collaboration is going to be an area that I need to actively work on! Though I love partnership projects once I'm in them, I don't always think to initiate.

Powtoon was a little hard to learn at first, but now I feel much more comfortable. So now I have another tool in my toolbox
-I have known about myself for awhile that I have become more introverted as I have become older. Which people don't always pick up on. I am also Achievement oriented. I know that I always try my hardest on everything but now I have a better word for it.
-I love the fact that another person used this in interview processes. I have a hard time selling myself and this is the perfect way for me to do that, without actually having to say anything. I would email this out to my future school to introduce myself

Okay.. so second time typing this out because I accidentally deleted it the first time. Soooo...
First time using Powtoon and will definitely use it again. These personality tests taught me a lot about my self, the good, the Okay and the ugly!! I love to talk, am outgoing, high need for achievement, when having a conversation may go off topic at bit a times (true very true), I also have a difficult time trusting that my co-workers will be able to complete a task well and constantly check their work even if they don't ask me to... (Let's just say that I'm working on that one and blame it on the fact that I'm the oldest of 5 ) but I digress.
I think this video can be used to introduce myself to my co-workers when I start a new job. Sort of share how I'm here and I'm not perfect but I know and I'm also willing to do whatever it takes to help them achieve their goals of helping students enjoy their learning experiences through collaboration and inquiry based learning.

This project helped me to learn more about the strengths I have to offer at school as well as my weaknesses or areas in which to grow. The Hartzell's assessment revealed that I strive for achieving tasks.
I thought the Jung test results were spot on in describing my personality. It showed how I have difficulty delegating tasks. I have recently had an opportunity to apply using this information. I met with community leaders to advocate for the needs of our library. They asked me to come to a round table discussion with people/representation. I decided since I am an introvert to get some outgoing extroverts that share my vision on my team and collaborate together.
