There was a world where everyone was not happy. Something was bothering them and made them all so unhappy. There was the happy people and those were the government. So the government decided to bombing all over the world and it killed so so many people. The people that were left were put into this place. Like a whole new city. Shunned with happiness and outside of that was nothing but rubble. These people are put in here one by one and drugged to forget all of the bombings. And all of the sadness. People just go on living in this place as happy as can be. 

The government in this dystopia is not what they seem. They wanna keep everyone happy. Like any good government they wanna keep their people happy. They have made two rules for these people in this town. Be happy always. And never ever go outside the boundaries of the town. EVER. the government has cameras everywhere. So they can watch and see if people break the rules. There is also another thing. If people go missing. Don't look for them. The government says that if your family or friends go missing they are on a special mission. 

This town that all of these people live in is a big square. With nothing but happiness on the inside and around it is the remains of what layed there before. No one is ever to go outside of these boundaries. There is puppies and cats and animals and rainbows everywhere so that people stay happy. There is free ice cream. The main character is a girl named kayla who lives among these people in this town. 

The artifact-  this girl named kayla lives in this place. This town. Where you are supposed to be happy all of the time. And the government keeps it that way. One normal day kayla is just going through some stuff in her basement and cleaning things out. Always with a smile on her face because that's what everyone did in this place. She all of a sudden falls and passes out. She has what feels like a dream. This dream is of a bombing and her running and hiding away. She gets found by these people in suits and taken to this line. As she passes in this line not knowing what's going on she  looks around. As she does this she sees this big hole in the ground a bit away from this colorful town she sees. Kayla wakes up. She was so freaked out by what she saw cause she had no recollection of this. All she knows is happy. And this town. But the feeling she got from herself in this dream like thing that she had was fear, sadness, terror. But then she has this flashback. She is in line. That the front and she remembers them giving her a shot then everything goes black. Kayla tried to makes sense of this all. But she still acts happy. She goes upstairs and leaves the house. She wants to see if this place, this hole, is there. And if it is she needs to see what all this is about. She walks like normal and tries to remember where this hole was. She is sneaky about it and when she finds it she is in shock.  She hides and in the distance she can see some guys in suits. Probably the government. Killing someone and putting them in this hole. She breaks from this happiness and goes right to terror. When the men in suits leave she slowly creeps up on this hole. And she she sees…. It terrifying. So many…. So many dead bodies. All murdered in differet ways. Kayla sees people with no heads. People with an axe in their head and people that are burn to a crisp. She backs away slowly and then there's someone behind her, the next second she has something over her mouth and she passes out. When she wakes up she is in a room and she is surrounded by men in suits. She has a gag in her mouth so she cant speak. She just looks around.  They are talking among themselves. But then they take her gag off and she said “whats going on here”? `they ask her “what were you doing outside of the walls? You know thats against the rules. We have dose nothing but keep you happy and you cant just follow one rule?” she says “im sorry i just was curious and had a dream-” they but her off “a dream what kind of dream?” she says “i dont know it was just me in a like coming to this place and getting a shot and seeing this hole.”  the said “ oh no. she knows about the shot. She has to go”. Kayla starts freaking out but they put the gag on her again. They dragged her into a car and took her to the hole. Now she is dead. In that hole. For no one to ever look for her. Alone with all of the people in there. (dramatic scene)
