It's the home to the Golden Gate Bridge, Alcatraz, and Ghiradelli Square. I went with my mom. She ran a half-marathon. The first day in San Francisco, was difficult because we couldn't find my way around the city. All of the attractions are spread out throughout the city. I wish I could of gone from one attraction to another within walking distance. I always took an uber around the city to get places. I have the uber app on my phone. So when we needed a ride, we just had to type in where we wanted the driver to come pick us up and take us to. On the app, we could also see how long it would take the driver to come and pick us up. In my opinion, it is better to take an uber than rent a car. Since we didn't have a car, we didn't have to worry about finding a place to park. In big cities like San Francisco, it is easy to get a ticket for parking in the wrong places. We rode on the cable car. We had to get up early to ride it. People have to get up early to get on the cable car because the lines to get on are always so busy. It is a fun way to get around the city. The Golden Gate Bridge is one of the most visited attraction. People walk, run, and bike the bridge. It is always very crowded. It is a very windy bike ride. Once we got across the bridge to Sausalito, I took the ferry back to San Francisco. On the water ride back, we saw Alcatraz across the way. Next, we went to visit my cousin John at his apartment. He took us to his moms favorite place to eat. He drove us through the Golden Gate Park twice. The first time was on our way to eat. Second time we drove through was on our way to Chinatown. Everybody loves that park. It is a city that isn't hard to get around. My family got a rental car to drive around the city. My favorite part about the city was how warm it was. It has many beautiful coastal neighborhoods near by. La Jolla one of the most visited beaches in California. There are many activities to do in La Jolla like kayak, snorkel, and surf. My dad, and my little sister Abby went to SeaWorld while my mom and I played out on the beach. Then we went to Coronado which was across the bridge from San Diego. Coronado is known for its shopping. We visited Balboa Park which has sixteen gardens. The park also has museums and theaters. The San Diego zoo is also located in the park. I also got to visit Torrey Pines State Park. It is on the coast. In the park there is the Mission Bay Aquatic Park. At this park people can kayak, sail, stand up paddle board, and water skii. It is place where all ages can enjoy themselves. The park also has bike paths. Visitors also love to bike in this city. Bicyclists love to bike the Pacific Coast highway which goes through towns like Del Mar, and Encinitas. People also love biking Mission Bay which has no cars. It is great for families to ride there. My favorite part about San Diego is snorkeling. La Jolla is probably the most beautiful place to snorkel. There is a lot of marine life around there. People also Kayak. La Jolla has sea caves where tourist like to kayak. It can also protect people from the sun. Sometimes people take guided tours. Most of those guided tours are around La Jolla. The summer and fall is when most people kayak. The drivers there aren't very patient. If you are planning to go there in the fall, there are some places to see the fall colors. Los Angeles arboretum does a great job of displaying the beautiful fall colors. There are some attractions that tourist must visit in LA to get the full experience. Griffith Park has some of the most popular attractions that people love to visit when they are there. As in the zoo and the Griffith Observatory. The park also offers horseback riding, hiking, and many other activities for people to enjoy. Los Angeles also has several beaches. Venice Beach is the home to street performers, healthy smoothies, and inexpensive boutiques. Malibu is where surfers like to go. People don't have to be an experienced surfer. Santa Monica beach is also a popular beach city. It is a very long beach. If you want exercise and a lot of walking that is the place to be. Visitors like to play beach volleyball and bike. When people visit they need to bring cash for parking. Bring lots of sunscreen! Manhattan Beach is the home where many television shows have been filmed. At the pier, there is an aquarium with sea creatures. There is a certain area for surfers that is south of the pier. At Hermosa beach, people like to shop and eat at outdoor cafes. People don't really lay out on the beach here. One of the most popular tourist attractions is Six Flags. It is like Worlds of Fun but has more rides. A must to visit before you leave is Universal Studios in Hollywood. It is a places where they play movies and have rides. In Anaheim there is Disneyland. There all kinds of rides. Peoples favorite spots to do this sport is on the water in downtown Portland. Whitewater rafting is another wonderful activity for families who are brave. Kayaking is also very popular activity to do. Kayakers love to kayak the Willamette River because it shows a beautiful view of the downtown. In Oregon City tourists can see the largest waterfall called the Willamette Falls. Clackamas River is where most of the kayakers go. It is a great place to go if you have never kayaked before. Horseback riding is another fun activity. In Clackamas County there are stables where people can ride. When people are on the trails they can see Mount Hood. On Sauvie Island there is something everyone can enjoy. Kids can go to camps for how to ride a horse. Portland is filled with peoples favorite sights to visit. Powell's City Of Books has filled a whole block. It contains a lot of books. More than what most bookstores sell. Portland Saturday Market has shops with merchandise that people made themselves. Stumpton Coffee Roasters has all kinds of different flavors of coffee. Portland Farmers Market has fresh produce, cheese, meats, flowers, and much more. Voodoo Doughnut is a place every person needs to visit before they leave. All the donuts are topped with creative ingredients such as fruit loops and Oreos. There is always a long line to go into the shop to buy a donut. Tourist can also camp if they would like. In the Mount Hood area, there is Lake Trillium. Since the campsite is close to Portland, campsites run out really fast. It is strongly suggested to reserve a campsite earlier rather than later. It provides beautiful views of Mount Hood. Lopez Island is a very friendly place. It is one of the best places to see the whales. The best way to see them is on a boat. There is also a whale museum on the island. It is a place where people can learn about what kinds of whales that may be out in the water. Along with the whales, there is also a ton of wildlife watching. Don't get too close to them, bring binoculars and see them from a distance. Orcas island is great for drivers but not bicyclists. It is a very hilly island. The island is a great place for a trip with your friends. Spend a day at the spa, then go kayaking. People also love to hike on these islands. The best places to hike on Orcas Island is Turtleback mountain. It is quite the climb. If you don't like to hike a lot, then it is not the place for you.
When people are bringing their whole family there are some musts. Horse back riding San Juan Islands can have people see waterfalls and the beautiful forests. All of the islands have farmers markets. These markets sell homemade goods, meat, bread, and oysters. Also people can see handmade gifts. Kayaking is great because people can go as a whole group. If people bring younger ones they can ride on a tandem. It is a great way to see beautiful locations on the islands. There is lots of entertainment as in fairs, and concerts. People love bringing their pets because all three islands are pet friendly. On San Juan Island people love to zipline. It will zip people through a forest. All of the islands having dining for all types of food types. My favorite was the Fridays Crabhouse because they have really delicious crabs. People are also able to see the water from the restaurant. Visitors love to go whale watching. They like to get on touring boats to go where they can see the whales really well. While they are on the boat, they can expect to see dolphins and sharks. The state has a national park called Acadia National Park. It is at Mt. Desert Island. It is a three hour drive from Portland but worth it. It is the home of the tallest mountain on the east coast. Visitors love to camp, hike, bike, and rock climb. They can also rent a cabin to stay in. Baxter State Park is also a favorite spot for the hikers. It offers kayaking, and fishing. Bradbury Mountain State Park is a great place to see the fall colors. It has a lot of trails to explore on. Wolfes Neck State Park is wonderful for people who like to bird watch. A must to do in Portland is the Casco Bay cruise. It is fantastic for wildlife viewing. People can also see the lighthouses and lobster boats from the tour. One of the greatest ways to see what the city is all about is to take one of the city tours. The tours can take visitors through neighboring towns as in Kennebunkport and Freeport. Usually the city tours last one hour. Overall it was a great vacation and I would go back there again. It is located in the One World Trade Center which is the tallest building. Times Square is probably most famous for hosting the ball dropping for New Years. Central Park is the worlds most famous park. It is a wooded place in the middle of Manhattan. The Rockefeller Center is famous for having television shows from NBC. It also has a ice skating rink for the winter. Visitors can sail to the Statue of Liberty monument. People can take a subway ride to the Yankee Stadium to watch some baseball. The bronx zoo allows visitors to see wildlife from all over the world. The Brooklyn Bridge is very pedestrian friendly bridge from Manhattan to Brooklyn. Brooklyn's most famous park is Prospect Park has a zoo, and a dog beach for tourists. Coney Island is Brooklyn's beachside area. It is the home of a lot of fun thrill rides. While NYC is very cool place to visit, it is very busy. Isn't a great place for people that don't enjoy crowds. Also I suggest to not rent a car because parking can be tricky and there is a lot of no parking signs. My family and I took an Uber around which is much faster than if we rented a car. Less to worry about. Also be careful with purses because there can be people who like to take things on the subway. It is a very popular place to be. There is more than 60 miles of beach. There are options for every budget for hotels. Most fun ways to see all of the ocean is by many watersports. Surfing is a blast which requires alot  of balance. My favorite part was parasailing over the beautiful water. Also there are dolphin tours. People can either go by boat or jet ski to see them. Visitors can get close to their feeding areas. There are also many water sports. Visitors love to go on banana boats which take you around by jet ski. Its for people who love to be splashed. Tourists can also go on eco tours. I strongly recommend the Carolina Rover Tour. It takes people to Georgetowns lighthouse. My favorite watersport that I did while I was on vacation was parasailing. It is a way you can see everything that is going on from above. I got to see dolphins and fish while I was up there. At first, I was scared but once I got up there I wasn't anymore. It is a great memory for anyone. People can either go parasailing by themselves, double, or triple. Myrtle Beach is most famous for their boardwalk. It hosts festivals and and other events. It also has a ferris wheel. It is also the home of a fun amusement park. My favorite ride was the Sling Shot. Riders are up hundreds of feet in the air really fast then back down. Myrtle Beach also has some lovely places to eat breakfast. Johnny D's is a popular place for visitors to go because it has fresh made waffles, french toast, and pancakes. My favorite thing to eat there is the red velvet waffles. It is a coastal city. People know this place for there beaches. It is a great place to lay in the sun. There are some things people must do when they visit here to ge the full experience. Surfers like to go to the Goose Rocks Beach. Goochs Beach is great for people who like to lay in the sun and it is also great for families. A great to see the town is a trolley tour. The tour will show visitors the towns biggest sights as in the Bush compound. Also it will show the towns history. In addition, visitors can also visit the towns famous lighthouses. Visitors should also note that not all the lighthouses can be accessed by road. People have to see them from a distance. A must do in Kennebunkport is Dock Square. It has several boutiques, bookstores, ice cream shops and candy stores. Also this square has a place where people can sign up for boat tours and whale watching tours. Visitors love to visit the Clam Shack where it has lobster rolls. The lines can be very long for these. If there is ever a rainy day while visiting this town people enjoy going to the Kittery Outlets. There is biking trails for the outdoorsy types. The most famous biking trail is the Eastern Trail. It is 65 mike trail. The trail includes country roads as well as off road trails. It is great for all ages. There is also a food festival held each June. There is food made by famous chefs. Overall it was a great trip and I would go back to visit again. Savannah offers several opportunities for people who like to fish. Visitors can make reservations on a charter to catch some fish. People can also rent a kayak to go explore the cities waterways where there is a ton of wildlife to see. Another wonderful opportunity to take is to go parasailing, jet skiing and dolphin tours. It is a great way to see all of the ocean and the wildlife swimming around. The city is also perfect for families. Visitors should rent a bike and look at the historic part of the town. People also like to take their families to the different museums. My favorite part was seeing all the mansions. There are also sightseeing tours to go on when visiting the city. There are several different tours as in seeing the cities waterways, mansions and historic sites. The city also has civil war landmarks. My favorite tour was when my family and I went for a dolphin tour. Visitors also love the shopping. There are a lot of different stores as in boutiques, antique shops, and markets to explore. There is a store for everyone is this town. Tourists also love the dining. When my family and I visited we went to one restaurant with oysters which was delicious. The last night we were there we went to a sushi restaurant which was my favorite. People also love to tour the building and hear about country legends like Johnny Cash. Also a must is to take a tour of the RCA Studio where Elvis recored his songs. It is where a lot of famous stars have recorded their songs. There is also a Johnny Cash museum honoring him. It has lots of documents, photographs, and personal items from his life. The museum follows his life and shows his music career. People also love to visit Andrew Jacksons museum and house. It was once owned by Jackson who was the president of the United States. Visitors to the museum can look through what his life was like. It is a popular attraction for visitors in Nashville. The farmers market features grown fruits and vegetables from farmers. There is also a indoor market that has several restaurants. Centennial Park has lots of visitors each year for hiking trails and recreational facilities. It also has a lake for visitors to kayak. Overall people should consider visiting there if they love country music. It is the only beach my family has always liked and will go back to again. In this town, most people get around by bike or by foot. Seaside doesn't really have a lot of activities to do but its neighboring cities do. Panama City helicopter tour is a great way to see the coast from above. This is an experience not to miss. A very popular way to see the dolphins is by jet ski. People get to see them in their habitat. Another great way to see the coast from above is by parasail. It is an activity that people won't regret. A wonderful place to take the kiddos is Gulf World Marine Park. Visitors are able to swim with the dolphins. Another neighboring city of Seaside is Destin. It has one of the most beautiful beach but is very crowded. People need to get there very early in the morning to get a spot to lay in the sun. A great way to explore Destin is by segway. The tour will take visitors Clement Taylor Park which has views of Crab Island. This tour has great photo op opportunities. One of the favorite things I did on this vacation was snorkeling. During the snorkeling tour my family and I got to see the habitat for the crabs, and the fish. I also got to see a dolphin. Snorkeling is a great activity for all ages. This tour also provides opportunities to use kayaks if visitors want to. People must also to restaurants that serve crab cakes, seafood, and saltwater taffy. My favorite thing we did in the city was riding on horses on the beach. It is a must when visiting. Kayaking is a great way to see one of the most fascinating ecosystems. It is also a great place to spend time with your family. There is a free family event almost every weekend in the city. Visitors also must go to Northfields Park. It is the most popular park in the city. It is a great place to play sports. The park also has a playground and walking trails. My other favorite part about visiting the city was parasailing. It is a great way to see the ocean and bay from up high. It was not as scary as I thought it was going to be. The beach is great for surfers. The beach goes very far along the city about ten miles. There is always two beaches reserved for surfers every day. During the summer on the beach there are free concerts. Golfing is popular in Ocean City for people who love to golf. The golf courses are challenging and designed by professional golfers. There are golf courses designed for different peoples skills. On the first day my family was there we went on a speedboat in the morning. It is a great way to get a view of the island. In the afternoon we went zip lining. There is a place called Island Adventure park where the zip lining takes place. The park also offers horse back riding on the beach. One the second day we did a bunch of watersports as in stand up paddle boarding, jet skiing, snorkel and parasailing. Another great way to see the city is by segway. Also the island has Schlitterbahn waterpark which I liked better than the one in Kansas. Has more waterslides. One of the most interesting tour on South Padre Island is the dolphin tour. It is the home of many dolphins. Visitors get to see them in their natural habitat and how they bond with one another. One of my favorite things my family and I did when we visited was ATV riding. It is fun if people are adventurous. The weather was wonderful very warm and sunny. There are all kinds of activities for everyone if people don't 
enjoy surfing. My family and I were there for the fourth of July. The city had spectacular fireworks. The beaches were very pretty and clean. I recommend for people to go there if they love the beach. I would recommend people to fly rather than drive because it was a long drive. It is also one of the greatest beach town for families. One of the favorite things my family and I did when we visited was biking. It has many different trails to go on and can connect to the beaches. There are also bike tours if people prefer to ride in groups. My favorite thing we did when visiting was a helicopter tour. It is a great way to see the town from above. It is really beautiful. People never know what they might see from above, sharks, dolphins, and sting rays. Zip lining is also a fun adventure for the family. It isn't a strong idea to do if people are afraid of heights. We also did a tour of Hilton Heads historic district which was beautiful. Another activity my family and I did was kayaking. We kayaking through the inlets of the island. Also visitors should jet ski through the beautiful blue water. We also parasailed which is a different way to experience the town. My family and I also rented a boat to waterski. It was fun. The warm weather in Hilton head make great waterskiing weather. The beaches are the best place to relax after waterskiing. Hilton Head is great place to hit the waves if people enjoy surfing.
