         <description><![CDATA[<div>I was trying to find an activity we use to do called a "Sunion" (Sun and onion) that had different colored paper representing all of the suns layers. Another popular activity for all kids is making edible suns. Start with plain sugar cookies, cover with yellow icing and then provide other edible materials for sun spots, prominence,  CME, and etc.  Basic idea is here: </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Here are some:</div><ul><li><strong>The Sun contains 99.86% of the mass in the Solar System. </strong><br>The mass of the Sun is approximately 330,000 times greater than that of Earth. It is almost three quarters Hydrogen, whilst most of the remaining mass is Helium.</li><li><strong>The Sun is an almost perfect sphere.</strong><br>There is only a 10 kilometre difference in its polar diameter compared to its equatorial diameter. Considering the vast expanse of the Sun, this means it is the closest thing to a perfect sphere that has been observed in nature.</li><li><strong>One million Earths could fit inside the Sun.</strong><br>If a hollow Sun was filled up with spherical Earths then around 960,000 would fit inside. On the other hand if these Earths were squished inside with no wasted space then around 1,300,000 would fit inside.          <description><![CDATA[<div>I have learned many impressive things about the Sun but I particularly like the fact that, when looking at an eclipse, one can tell if the Sun is going through an active or quite period by looking at the solar corona. When the Sun is in a low activity period, we can "see" indirectly the lines of its magnetic field. When the Sun is in a high activity period, there are many sunspots and flares, which involve very intense magnetic fields. I love the amazing images.</div>]]></description>
