Challenger Disaster Groupthink

An example of Challenger disaster groupthink is the story of a man named Salamon and his three girls under the age of 5 at the time. The background of this situation was of a different culture also mixed with child protective services that were out of the involved adults control. Salamon was diagnosed with Cancer and due to separation there was nobody to take care of his 3 baby girls. Salamon was apart of our church and we considered him family. We had to display groupthink and today every girl is taken care of by families in the church. We all made the decision due to the girls safety as of now, the girls safety in the future, Salamon's wishes, and a healthy lifestyle for all those involved.
