his cochlear is one of the first things people notice about him. while his hands are notably held to the end of his shirt when anxious. he doesn't seem to smile until interacted upon. raises eyebrows with others he is less comfortable around; this helps him look less sad. when alone or with hr / niiba, his eyebrows are rested. his neutral face in general just gives this, about to cry, feeling. other people view kg as approachable, his disability unknown to most the way kg is so open towards others. kg is kind to everyone but he's a little rough to actually get to know. like an invisible wall. his facial expressions are easy to read, but he doesn't always make the right ones for the right time. kg has grown to be very expressive with his hands. mostly fidgeting with himself, scratching his nose, pulling his ear, or rubbing his arm. kg has amazing posture, he likes to make his height known. he only let's it falter around hr. when out shopping kg has an uncertainness to him that makes others want to ask him if he needs help, but is very people avoidant in stores. his clothing style is very average for his demographic, wearing plain heavyweight tees and straight leg bordering baggy pants. bangs long enough to cover his eyes, but always swept off the side in an uneven cut.

his eyebags are quite noticeable under his blue eyes. hr still wears the blue earrings kg got him around when they first met, though occasionally he'll wear the new ones kg has bought him. hr takes a lot to get a smile out of, unless ofc ur kg. hrs resting face makes him look thoughtless, when really all he's doing is thinking. other people view hr as unapproachable, he has this mean kind of demeanor. as he's easily upset by others, and extremely expressive about things he doesn't like. his all around honesty and superb studying skills has earned him a few friends. but his depression led him to losing contact with most of them. hr keeps his body language communication to a minimal, he rather express how he's feeling through words. he doesn't have the best posture, completely dependent on the day. hr will slouch walk when he's had enough. he is very big on his personal space, if someone's too close, he will take steps back or lean away from them. hr also tends to completely sink in chairs when sitting. he still dresses for himself quite openly and gets remarks from his job because of it. wearing sweaters, shirts, and jackets with bold prints. while he wears straight leg pants bordering skinny jeans, rarely will he wear baggy pants. still has his long hair strands, though one remains tucked behind his ear now. with slightly off put and oddly cut curtain bangs.

● has tinnitus which is, in kgs case, caused by exposure to loud noises.

● can't hear sounds under 60db w/o cochlear implant... such as a normal conversation, rain, whispering.

● his speech is somewhat underdeveloped, as he went a few years untreated, becoming a shut in during that time.

• kg now goes to speech therapy.

● kg has a few fidget toys and a comfort item, that are found with him often.

● he speaks in a softer pitch, his words lack sharpness, and has a difficult time hearing word endings.

• isolated younger self due to difficulty of expressing himself. regained confidence when he got his cochlear.

• knows little sign language from time of isolation. didn't take much of a liking to it.

● loses his self confidence when he takes off his cochlear. meaning he'll wear it everywhere if he can.

• kg feels vulnerable w/o it.

● kg is friendly with everyone, but his friend group is small and consist only of hr and niiba.

● hr is kgs ex roommate whom he'd fallen in love with. with hr being a year older, he's now in college.

• kg takes the train to visit hrs apartment.

● the two of them message each other during the morning, lunch, and right before the dorms lights out policy.

• kg loves using emojis.

● even if its bad kg likes to draw hr for fun.

● they have scheduled meet up days, kg sometimes spending the night at hrs.

• kg leaves a spare cochlear at hrs, as he's over there so often.

● kg always invites hr to his basketball games, even the cultural festival at his school.

● kg is horribly clingy when around hr as he doesn't see hr everyday. though kg always asks hr if he can touch / hold him.

• kg makes hr play roblox with him.

● kg owns a DS and loves to play cooking mama and mr. driller.

● hr can get really lost in thought often looking spaced out. if kg notices him doing it for too long, he'll pull at his shirt.

● hr has passive suicidal thoughts, he does his best to communicate often to kg about this, kg helps pull him out of those thoughts.

● hr is gentle around kg and very protective of him.

• hr is rough with others not often empathetic, and not found to be easily approachable.

• hr is found to also have emotional dependency— meaning a lot of how he feels depends on how kg feels.

● hr doesn't like to be touched by others, due to a huge lack of physical touch in his life. he appreciates that kg asks even when they're dating.

● hr and kg are dating, but hr asked if they could approach everything slowly.

• he wants to be better for himself so he can be better for kg.

● hr plans most of their dates.

• a lot being shopping dates, hr is always found to be holding kgs hand.

● hr works at a bar, and often has to put his delinquent behavior to good use. it's not uncommon for his face to have cuts and bruises.

• kg worries about hrs job, though he knows it's only while he's in college.

● hr is a full time college student, he works late nights so he can hang out with kg after school.

● hrs sleep schedule is horribly messed up, going to college, studying at home, and going to work.

• hr only really sleeps when kgs spending the night. he loves the way kg cuddles up to him.

● hr has a flip phone, so his apps are limited. he listens to music on cds or on kgs phone when he comes over.

• kg made hr his own spotify playlist. kg listens to it often.

• kg buys hr cds, so the two of them have a cd collection at hrs apartment.

● after an event where kg was left waiting outside hrs apartment for hours, hr decided on giving kg a key of his own to hrs apartment.
