Imagine going on a road trip in a school bus that your dad converted to your home. Twelve year Coyote and her dad are ready for new adventures in an attempt to leave the past. Although it might sound challenging to live on a bus, Coyote and her dad enjoy the freedom of being able to go wherever their heart leads them. Along their travels, Coyote and her dad Rodeo, pick up interesting passengers including a run away teen, a musician, and a mother and son who are running from the violent father. The group encounters some troublesome situations. Coyote was even left at a gas station once with a boy she had just met - he helped her get away with stolen items. I recommend this book to readers who like reading about unusual characters. Readers who like adventures that teach about real life will love this book.

Imagine you are only 13 with three other kids on the run across the country you have professionals hunting you down willing to do whatever it takes to catch you the only thing you can do is run. Eli, Tori, Malik and Amber are doing just that, they found out that their home town that they had never left was just an experiment. They were clones placed in a town that was 80 miles from any other town. They were lead to believe the outside world was a horrible place and the classes and school were like contentment, loyalty, honesty so they thought that the world they lived in was perfect. Little did they know they were clones from some of the worst criminals in the world they experiment was to see if it was DNA that caused people to act bad or was it how they were raised. Now that they know they are on the run and their only goal in life is revenge! I would recommend this book to anyone who likes mystery and action. its a great book!

Did you know that Pepsi almost had to give a customer a military fighter jet? Oh, that was 7 million wasn't a big enough number! If you're intrigued, I recommend Humble Pi: A Comedy of Maths Errors by Matt Parker. This book contains many comical instances in which a slight math error has had a somewhat surprisingly big effect. For example, some of you who know about the Y2K bug. What if I told you that in 2038 the Y2K38 bug will be exposed? Scared? This book will address reasoning behind both of the above mentioned, plus many other similar things. I know this book seems overwhelming and not exactly a light read, but let me tell you... it is worth it. (It's much easier to enjoy this book if you go at it with a positive attitude) I recommend this book to anyone who enjoys math or engineering, or just non-fiction in general.

Review by Henry Buczkiewicz

Now imagine that you are an average girl in 7th grade that lives in Hatfield Pennsylvania. You are given an assignment in class. Your assignment is to write a letter to anyone in the world. Be pen pals with them. Caitlin is fascinated with the odd name and spelling of Zimbabwe. She chooses to write to someone living there. Martin is lucky to even receive a letter. Only the top 10 students in the grade get one. I Will Always Write Back, by Martin Ganda and Caitlin Alifirenka is a true story written by the two main characters in the book. It illustrates what is was like growing up in a poor country in an even poorer family. After spanning for 5 years, Caitlin and her family set up something that will change Martin's life forever. In this compelling novel it shows how random acts of kindness can save peoples lives? This book will keep you turning the page.

Imagine your neighbor, who you must walk to school with, walks into the forbidden forest, and you see leaves fallen surrounding a substance that seems fuzzy. Fuzzy "mud". Fuzzy Mud by Louis Sanchar, is about "fuzzy mud" taking over the forest. It causes rashes, blisters, and redness anywhere on the skin it touches. Tamaya, the main character, her neighbor Marshall, and their enemy Chad, all touch the mud. In fact, Marshall, threw the mud at Chad's face. After that, Chad ran deeper into the woods. Chad is gone, and Tamaya is too scared to tell anyone what happened.

Imagine you in a hospital not hearing anything around you and wondering why you are feeling this way. Well this is just how Cece felt. El Deafo by Cece Bell is about a young kid who becomes deaf and is always feeling embarrassed about it.Cece has to find a way to ignore her differences and just be a kid. I really recommend this book to anyone who likes fiction and fast moving books. Also, what makes this book really cool is that the author went through and still is going through the same as Cece. Overall, I think you should definitely read El Deafo.

Big Brother: Telescreen: Thought Police. If you lived in Oceania, you had to face it. You could do anything but one thing: Rebel against Big Brother. Big Brother was a famous war hero that controlled the Americas, Australia, England, and half of Africa. 1984 by George Orwell was a prediction of the year 1984. 1984 is a book about living in a super-state government that controls not just information but individual thought. Living in a super-state that was constantly at war with each other was enough for Winston Smith, the main character. In fact, Big Brother goes as far as to put telescreens in everyone's house. Telescreens are televisions that can't be turned off. There are two channels in the screens: Propaganda music or Propaganda News. On top of that, the telescreens are watching your every move. You can't escape the thought police. Not in Oceania anyways.

I would recommend this book to anyone who wants to feel what Winston felt, and the life in a communist-authoritarian super-state.

In the short story Skinship by Yoon Choi, So-hyun, along with her mom and brother Ji-ho do just that. They move in with their aunt in America, hoping to start a new life. They face many challenges, but most of all the struggle to just feel normal. A story about change and trying to find where you belong, I recommend this piece to anyone who likes stories about real world problems and involved, engaging main characters.
