Shakespeare’s language is gorgeous, his characters complex and the themes—love, honor, betrayal, envy, jealousy, fear, pride, lust, grief—are all issues that matter to us today
His turns of phrase were unconventional and ingenious, and today they've entered so fully into the English language that they seem to be beyond coinage.
