She is the first female pilot and independence activist in Korea. she was active as a namkyung(남경) sinus antigen during the Japanese colonial period. She worked hard for independence. When she was young, she entered soong hyeon(숭현) elementary school in 1913. She was transferred to soongui(숭의) girls' school in 1916, and graduated in 1919. She participated in the demonstration under the influence of teachers Park 박현숙 and 정일성. 권기옥 became stronger. In 1943 김순애, 방순이, 최선화, 최애림, 최형록 organizaed the Korean patriotic women's association under the provisional government of changing, where she served as a social director.
