Overall the ipe sessions were beneficial in finding out what other professionals approaches to ethical issues we may face in practice are. however i feel it could be condensed down and done over one day so that students attended all the sessions as less students attended on the second day which hindered the learning/discussions.

Some issues with materials as already mentioned the Rotherham case study was cumbersome. Very much a what you put in is what you get out. Unfortunately it meant when mixing the groups randomly there was one much quieter group so the discussion was limited for them. I didn't undertake all the activities due to time constraints. I had a nice group who mixed well. However, I did have a few who dropped out along the way. I dont feel that the students were prepared for IPE, none of them had looked at the BB site or any materials beforehand and is something I would encourage next time. Also, having teaching on 2 consecutive days felt like it limited the student's ability to reflect and prepare for seminar 3 and 4. I also agree that the Rotherham sheet was hard to follow.

I enjoyed IPE this week, but did also last time. The group were motivated, interested and engaged with all the activities. I like the values, safeguarding, survival game and the jigsaw learning and find the students do too. Theer is always lots of disucssion about these. I personally struggle with the seminar 4 professionalism activity and feel there needs more content to this or for it to come in an earlier seminara. Overal though, a positive teaching experience.
