         <description><![CDATA[<div>While there are many factors affecting the frequency of tornados, the main cause is the tropical storms from the south like Florida moving onto the midland and meeting the cold air from Canada. This takes the atmosphere into a state of instability where a sudden change in wind direction or speed could trigger a tornado because the warm air rising pushes against the sinking cool air.<br>Below is a composite of photos showing a tornado forming in Kansas.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Tornados can form at virtually any time, but the peak tornado season is different for different regions. The southern states experience tornados more frequently in the spring while the northern states experience more in the summer. It is also noted that most tornados form during the afternoon and evening because there is more heat and moisture in the air.<br>Below is a photo of a summer tornado in Oklahoma.</div>]]></description>
