The British Red Cross help people in crisis, whoever and wherever they are. They are part of a global voluntary network, responding to conflicts, natural disasters and individual emergencies. It was founded on the 4th August 1870 in response to Europe at war.

The world bank group was formed on the 27th December 1945 with the aim of eliminating poverty and providing financial aid to developing countries. It consists of 188 member states.
