While 30x30 is primarily a biodiversity goal, many conservation actions advance environmental justice outcomes such as clean air and water etc. Supporting cross-network discussion and planning may allow for additional innovative ideas and for improving equitable outcomes across all conservation projects.

As we expand and consider broadening our tent, we should consider translation of materials into additional languages as well as considering more accessible and inclusive tools and language, especially when including non-traditional practitioners and/or community members. More examples could include having visual descriptions or enabling captions as a default for meetings.

I worry about where the impassioned ecologically minded professionals will come from in 20 years. New enviro professionals have to counter huge tides of expensive costs of living, distractions, and a national philosophy of place DIS-connection. How do we create an integration of 30x30 values to move all California students forward with support of State Educational systems?

Q: is there any attention to diseases, either threats to wildlife directly (e.g., chytrid impact on amphibians) or even human potentially (e.g. avian flu) which are throughout the state?
