1. To decrease debt, raising taxes is the highest and fastest chance of getting success
2.We think it would be best to raise taxes on the rich.
3. The rich could become angry that they're singled out and that they are not being treated equally although they have the upper hand financially which normal Americans don't. Majority of Americans would be onboard with this idea since most fall into the lower or middle classes.

Jayme, Matthew, and Quinne

1. To decrease the debt the government should cut spending.
2. Areas the government should cut spending on are defense, and non defense which includes transportation, education, veterans, health, housing, and other activities. 3. Positives of cutting spending of these areas are that the government can slowly recover from the national debt with more revenue. Negatives is that the defense of the nation can grow weaker due to less spending, and all people who fall under the non defense category will be affected negatively. This decision will most likely not be popular by the American people since cutting the spending on the non defense program will affect the majority of citizens.

Luke and Mason

We move to combine PPP and Net interest costs and cut it down. based on the chart, the combined cost is $871 billion. these 2 sections of outlays are basically the same thing. they are both around the personal loan area. PPP is just specific to businesses. this change would affect businesses, corporations, house owners, and banks. this might not be the most popular idea, but it is the most viable. One of the positive outcomes is more money for other important areas of interest. One negative effect is businesses could lose money making paychecks and minimum wage go down.

audrey payton rayne nicole and morod

1. Raise Revenues/Taxes
2. We would raise the corporate taxes
3. By raising corporate taxes, the taxes on income made by corporations will increase. The positives are the majority of Americans aren't getting taxed it only the bigger corporations
The Negatives Corporations will be angry because they will have less income
Will it be popular?
