In December of 1522 he began to work in the Cathedral of Lerida, first as singer and, from September of 1523 and until October of 1525, like teacher of chapel. Later it moved to Guadalajara, to the service of III Duke of the Infantado, Diego Hurtado de Mendoza, where he worked for six years.
