Using a Nikon D90 in a group of four we took loads of different photos including the formal elements we learnt in class such as, Texture , Line and colour also the pattern of the tiles infront. as this photo has lots of colour and line. I will however have to crop out the people in the background as they aren't part of the photo. However the photo is a good example of the formal elements. I chose this image because it has a very strong element of line which was one of my formal elements. The problem with image two, three and four is that they are taken to far away from the colour and instead it looked like it focused more on the background than the colour in the foreground. They did have the formal element that i wanted but the image quality wasn't very good. Images 5-10 aren't very good again because the image was taken from to far out so then the background is the main focus. Also in the images you can't really so the blue colour of the bush that should have been there. Images 11-14 were a little better as the shot is a lot closer than the others but the photos especially photo 13 was very shaky and overall i didn't think the shot was good overall. photo 15 is the edited version of the original image. I edited it by changing the colour from green to a brown colour to give the feel of autumn and that the leaves will fall off the trees. Images 16-17 were in my opinion very good images as they showed the full colour of the leaves however I decided not to use these images as i felt the tree image was miles better and was a lot better to edit. Again images 18-20 are good as it shows an up close of the previous images 2-4 and a long with the blurred background it was a major improvement but still i felt the tree shot was better.
