How do languages affect the way we think?

Yes,languages do affect the way we think. If you show a person speaking English a photo of a person breaking a vase by accident he/she will say “He broke the vase by accident” while a Spanish speaker might say “The vase broke by accident”.So this means that the English speaker will remember who did it while the Spanish speaker will remember that it was an accident. And there are also some languages which do not even have numbers making it difficult for native speakers to count. And there is a community in Australia which has a language completely based on directions. If you want to say “hello”,you’ll have to say “Which way are you going?” you’ll have to tell them the direction and ask them where are they going. But in that same community, people do not say left, right they say east, north, south and west.A surprising fact is we losing on average one language per week.
