I chose this quote because it shows who Gucci's influence was. Where it all started. How he mimicked his brother's behavior, moves etc. Duke was an ok example for Gucci. His behavior just rubbed off on him. I get it that you want to be like your big sibling. I mean who dosent grwowing up . Whether it's bad or good most of us just want to be like our siblings.

I relate to this because when our house burned down, we had nowhere to go. We were homeless. But my dad stepped up and let us stay with him in Rancho. This quote shows us when life gets hard we always have family to fall back on.

this quote because it shows how they treated Gucci after he started getting some money. How they treated him badly. They all want to use you and blame you when you up. They are guilt-tripping Gucci for money. Gucci doesn't owe anybody money, whether your family or not. He worked hard for his , from the ground up .

I liked this quote because it gives off of yin and yang. This shows how 2 polar opposites attract. I loved their friendship while reading the story. I could tell they had a good influence on Gucci, for the most part.

I chose this quote because I resonate with it so much, everyone has their bad days, including me. Having a friend tell you to keep your head up and ask if are you ok is nice. I and many other people have to push to through the day even if it's bad. The grass in Grenner on the other side i believe. You don't know if the day will be better tomorrow, so just push through and you'll see.

Even through tough times, Gucci was positive. He reassured his friend that we could beat this, and to stay out of trouble. Gucci knows how to handle the law and what to do. He was right in telling his friend that we cant run, we have to face our actions.

I picked this quote because i connect with Gucci about this topic. I to think my dad didn't really want kids for real. He never really liked to play with them or even be around them. My mom had to step up and be both parents, even when they were together. I can tell Gucci is upset writing this. To realize that your own dad didn't really want you. I feel that 100%

I get this quote because this is how I feel about my grades/GPA. I have this GPA because I have major procrastination issues. I have come to terms with the fact that I can never get rid of this issue. I can become a little better with it by developing better habits but it won't go away .

I chose this quote because I like this and agree with it. When we are looking back worried about other things, we don't know what's in the front and could fall/trip over anything even the littlest stuff. Don't worry about what is beside you or in the back of you. That does you no good and doesn't make you get ahead faster. Stay in your lane and focus on yourself. Gucci is saying.

i chose this quote to correlate my depression with what Gucci said. Although I never used any drugs to get through my issue im making other connections to what said. I knew my depression wouldn't last forever so all I had to do was just push through those days. Depression wouldn't beat me just like Gucci said. I can say it does get better, you just need time.

I chose this quote to relate to my anxiety which causes this stress that I have. It starts small but then I have a full pledge panic attack. I to becoime parinoid . Mostly around my peers. I picked this quote because , i feel what hes saying . I don't know why i expect people to tell the truth . Its just a lot of fake ness going around. People don't know how top be true to themselves or keep it 100 . Not everyone has them type of morals . You could help someone and not even get the same expectation back . So what hes trying to say is , don't expect anything from other people . Do you and always keep it real , even when those around you don't .

I relate to this so much because I know firsthand going through hardships, over and over. But life goes on and it does not stop for anybody. You have to keep going because you're going to get left. Through my 12th grade year, I have experienced a lot of stress but I'm overcoming that. And going to do much better next semester.

Even though I am not from the hood, I wanted to use the first part of the quote because I resonate with this quote so much. I remember people joking about me and I usually laugh it off. But In reality, it hurt my feelings. I didn't want to show them that I was "weak " or that it bothered me. So I just had to deal with the pain.

I like this quote because it's interesting how this all kinda started because he had no money, and couldn't ask his parents for money. He had to figure out a way to make it out of the slums and make something of himself. When his mother told him all she had was 50 and handed it to him, that moment changed his whole life. He didn't even know at that time, what he would go through/become.

I like this quote because Gucci talks about being an example to the young kids . He notices that hes a example and tries to change his ways , because he dosen't want the youth to follow him and what he did in his childhood . He wasnt's to lead them in a good direction , and show them that you can make it out the hood .
