After great consideration and preparation, Gaby eventually decided that for her project she would fake a pregnancy. Gaby wanted to know what it felt like to go through, and to see how she would be judged and how peoples opinions on her would change. The only people who knew her pregnancy was fake was her mother, and boyfriend. Throughout her 'pregnancy' Gaby learned so much about how people viewed teen pregnancy and although it was difficult she lost some and gained friends through her journey. Around the time that Gaby would be expected to have the baby she called the entire school to an assembly to reveal her senior project. Many were shocked but, word spread and Gaby's story gained national attention.
