I even help develope machinery and inventions to assist those on the front line. I believed the mind and body where separate but as one (dualism). When I was 8 my father sent me to a boarding school. Although I was oftenly sick i still managed to stay in school and graduate. After I graduated I enlisted in the army, although I didn’t actually take part in battle I was an engineer helping create weapons and equipment to advance those in battle.  I returned home and continued my studies of Dualism. Dualism is my study of the mind and body being separate but working together as one. The mind I found to be an immaterial, nonextended substance that engages in various activities such as rational thought, imagining, feeling, and willing. Matter, or extended substance, conforms to the laws of physics in mechanistic fashion, with the important exception of the human  body. As In our body and mind co-operate as one, for example our body feels pain but how?
