We took 6 components first as the software could not connect to more than 6; therefore, we decided to think ahead and build a small prototype of light changing. With help from Sarwar, we learned how to make the LED light block change colour through using two button blocks. This was then developed through using a pressure sensor block in replacement of the two button blocks and limit pressure so every time it hits a certain amount of pressure, it changes colour. The LED light changes colour depending on how hard the pressure sensor block is pressed. We took this further by adding in two other LED lights that change into different colours too. Also, we used the button and buzzer blocks. When the button block is pressed, the buzzer block will output a sound. However, in order for the project to function well on its own, we decided to keep the buzzer block as it can make sounds on its own, without being too reliant on the computer. Using what we learned from our project experimentation, Yago made the LED lights work by changed colour depending on how hard the pressure sensors were pressed. This saves space and memory instead of relying on using the code method used for the pressure sensors. Initially the program crashed each time the button block is pressed because we did so. We also changed the block layout by having the vibration block work with the sensor block instead of the button, which we used the buzzer for. The buzzer worked well with the button block as we are able to hear the music clearer compared with using the pressure sensor. The extra decorations such as the flag, minifigure, and spaceship (used transparent LEGO bricks as a stand to make spaceship look as though it is flying) make the system more fun to use and can relate well with a younger audience. I also added LEGO to keep ALL BLOCKS in "fixed" positions. Yago tested the system and was a success because all the blocks worked the way they are supposed to. A slight problem we encountered was that some blocks when pressed lift up from the floor.
