We are all excited about the upcoming week and the many activities we have  set in place! Starting on Monday, April 17th, students will read and discuss the book "No Mirrors in My Nana's House" written by Synthia Saint James and learn the song to the story. This book will allow your child to appreciate the beauty within themselves and their surroundings. In order to accomplish this goal,  as a introductory activity, I will have students  do a raffle and pick a name from the box. Next they will close their eyes and call out all positive things about the person they have picked to uplift their spirits. This week, I am asking that  you allow your child to help pick out their own clothes  to wear this week.
