When we were at the Kids On The Beach. Delivering the inuit cultural was fun, like the theme was about the culture. We let the children do colouring with the little word book traditional food and cutting the little books.

I’d show and tell the children about our Inuit culture with an elder who has experience before houses, technology and everything we have nowadays. Show some pictures of how they use to dressed, what they use to eat, what they use to use to hunt with bones for tools. Let the children colour animals, wear some traditional outfits, learn to play the drum.

Working with children teaching the cultural way, we have to explain very well as they would need to understand and know how it works, and show them what is available to them, not all childcare centres engage and teach about Inuit ways as not all of them have Inuit employees.
