Taehyung was born in Daegu and lived with his parents until they sent him off to live with his grandparents for what was supposed to be a short period, but soon turned into as long as he could. His two younger siblings chose to return home but he stayed on.

When he reached high school they made the decision to move to Seoul instead, claiming they believed Taehyung's chances to a better life would be found there rather than Daegu. It was here that he met Donghyuk who very quickly because a close and dear friend for him - a positive strong influence in his life.

His grandparents always supported him in his decisions, encouraging him to follow his dreams and live his life happy and to the fullest. So when they passed away he made the decision to go to Art School and figure out who he was and where he was supposed to be.

He struggles with money, often taking on delivery jobs or odd jobs here and there for people in the community in order to earn enough to keep him afloat - although it isn't something he'd ever admit to and as far as he's aware nobody has caught on yet.
