<title>Students write, tap out, and practice spelling words (using OG strategy), and then engage in guided reading after launch. All other aspects of small group reading are guided by me. </title>

<title>Students write responses to texts that they read with me at the back table. They also read books of their choice independently. In addition, students work on iStation during their independent work time. Occasionally, I will have students read a passage and answer questions during this time. </title>

<title>Students in my class receive a differentiated activity after my mini lesson. Following that they can choose from 5-8 stations such as phonics games, reading alone, sentence builders, reading comps etc. How do I make sure children are challenging themselves during that time when I&#39;m not able to hold them accountable directly? </title>
