To all graduating Seniors: You are now ready to begin writing your next chapter. An open book is ahead of you, and though it may be frightening, it is ripe with possibility. Never forget these truths as you begin to write your stories:

1. The most attractive quality you will ever have is your integrity and authenticity.
2. The world will champion chaos, vendettas, and resentment. Be prepared for it and be ready to respond with kindness, forgiveness, and sincerity.
3. Honesty is a lost art - find it and cling to it as you search for truth and meaning.
4. For every person who agrees with your worldview, there will always be at least one other person who disagrees with you.
5. True freedom is found in restriction. Rules may be frustrating, but most are designed to give you the liberty to write your stories.
6. Time is short. Cherish each moment, each relationship, and each opportunity as if it were your last.
7. The solution to a difficult problem is often asking the right question instead of finding the right answer.
8. Technology is a great servant but is a poor master. For every technological advancement, there are unintended consequences in regards to our humanity.
9. When you are at a loss for words, speak with your presence. Support for others is not always audible.
10. The only person you should try to be better than is the one you were yesterday.
