What Kinds Of People Do You Identify With

The people I associate with are athletes. Most of my friends have come from playing sports such as baseball. Baseball has brought me lifelong friendships. The best way to form friendships and bonds is by going through tough times with another person. All of us have put in the work and we have the same goal, winning. Spending this much time with people at school and at practice, you are bound to make friends and associate yourselves with each other. A person I would consider a friend is someone who includes you out of school. There is a difference between school friends and real friends. School friends are people who talk to just in school and real friends are the ones who you hang out with out of school. A friend is a person who cares for you and gives you honesty no matter the situation. Friends will check you or tell you something you need to hear even if you don't want to hear. People who aren't your real friends will tell you what you want to hear, which can be even more detrimental to the situation. The characteristics a person must possess to be a friend are a sense of humor, the same values, the same interests, the same beliefs, honesty, and a good role model. My group sees each other as important and makes sure we talk to each other and hang out. We talk in our group chat and make sure we are active to send each other videos or ask to play videogames if were not hanging out in person.

School is important because it has a socialization and an educational impact on my life. On the educational side, I have learned things and have discovered interests I might want to study in college and take over to the career field and do something the rest of my life in a certain subject. Education is the main focus of the school and it has taught me a lot of things I care about, and a lot I don't. Although I don't care about some subjects, that teaches me what I am not interested in, which is a good thing to carry over to college. What I would say the most important thing about school is developing social skills. Making friends and connections through school is very important for developing social skills. While education comes first, making friends and memories is important to make sure you are living the best life you can. A lot of teachers have had an influence on me throughout my years in school. First, I will start with all of the baseball coaches/teachers I have had here. Coach Genke, Coach Wik, and Coach Moriarty have all had an impact on me. They have taught me how to be a better baseball player, but more importantly, a better man. They have taught me leadership, respect, and honesty. Coach Moriarty in particular has been the most influential. While he might be intimidating to some, he keeps everyone in check. He is honest and doesn't take any excuses. Respect is earned with him, and he has taught me to be a better person. Lastly, everything would be different without these school experiences. I would not have the memories of playing baseball with my friends at school and all working towards a common goal, I would not have the memories of hanging out with people after football games, and I would not have the memories of going to prom. These memories and social experiences from school have made me the person I am today.

How Has Religion Played A Role In Your Life

Throughout my life, Catholicism has has an impact on my life. I started out as a baby getting baptized, which is the start of my faith. When I was younger, I would go to the St.Pats church for CDC to learn about my faith and get ready for communion and later, confirmation. This was a every week thing where you would go there for a couple hours and learn about different things about God. This led us to our communion where it would lead us to the next step of becoming confirmed. Then, you would go back and learn more about your faith. Towards the end of middle school, I got confirmed. Being Catholic, it gives you something to believe in, faith, and a community. Being religious gives you a higher power to believe in. While my family and I don't go to church enough, we still have faith and believe in the things we believe. In the future, I plan to keep my family religious because I feel like it is important for them to believe in the religion I believe in and grew up learning about.

What Does Success Mean To You

As an Athlete, you go through a lot of failures and struggles mentally and physically. Playing sports is all about being confident and putting in the work for success. You have to go through some failure before you succeed. Success to me means I am happy with the life I have. In the future, I want to be happy with the college I am at in a year or so. I will know I made it when I have made memories in college that I will never forget. Living life to the fullest is an aspect of success. I want to graduate from college and have a good life set up after. Having a successful life means being able to check off bucket list items. Going to sporting events, concerts, and all the events I want to see means I have succeeded. Traveling, seeing different places in the world, and living life means you have worked hard enough to be able to afford those things. I will know I made it when I am not stressed out over life. I will know I made it when I have a family with healthy kids who are going to school and happy with their life. I want my kids to have a good childhood and life after college. Success is earned, and I want to be successful in my life when it comes to everything in it. Whether it is school, career, memories, or my family, I want to be stress-free and have a successful life.

Who Are 3 Famous People I Admire?

The first famous person I admire is Adam Sandler. While he isn't the most influential person or has not solved a world issue, he has helped me through tough times. He is my favorite comedian and actor because all of his movies are funny to me. Laughing is the best way to get happy, so when I am sad or upset at something, I go to one of his classic movies. The best movie of his that I can always sit down and watch is grown ups 1 and grown ups 2. While Adam Sandler is a great actor and his movies are funny, I admire him because of his personality outside of movies. Famous people who act famous and too good for the "normal" people are my least favorite people. Adam Sandler outside of movies acts like a normal person. He dresses how he wants to dress, he goes out and plays basketball in public, and he doesn't act like hes better than people. He is influential and admirable because of how he acts away from his profession. The next person I admire is Pat Tillman. Pat Tillman was a professional football player who played in the NFL. He was a very good player his entire career. After the 9/11 attacks, he left football to enlist in the army. He ended up dying from friendly fire while in Afghanistan fighting for our country. The United States tried to say he died from enemy fire, while it was friendly fire. I admire him because he could have stayed in the NFL, made a ton of money, and continued his successful NFL career, but he decided to do something so unselfish and fight for our country. He is a positive role model and a very influential person to people who follow sports. The last famous person I admire is Kurt Warner. Kurt Warner is another professional athlete in the NFL. He played quarterback for the Rams, Giants, and Cardinals. Kurt Warner ended up getting cut early on in his career after not being drafted. He ended up going to work out a grocery store, packing grocery bags and stocking shelves for people. He was only earning $5.50 an hour while working there. He ended up getting another chance in the NFL, and taking advantage of it. He won a Superbowl and the Superbowl MVP. He is the definition of don't give up on your dreams. All of these famous people are influential and admirable because of their personality, not their money. Adam Sandler hows humbleness, Pat Tillman shows unselfishness, and Kurt Warner shows hard work. All of these traits are admirable and I try to inherent these traits.

Everyone who has had or does have a pet knows how important they are. They cheer you up when you are sad, and they hang out with you. They can be considered best friends. Pets bring joy and an important element to every household. Over my life, my family has had 2 dogs and 2 cats. Our current dog is Cooper. Every day when you get home, he is there to greet you at the door. He loves to lie in my bed throughout the day to look out the window to see what is going on. We even put a special blanket over my bed for him to lay on. When you say "Cooper, who's here," he sprints to the door to greet the person who's coming home. His favorite activity is chasing squirrels in the backyard. Cooper brings me a lot of joy and he is the best dog we could ask for. Next, our cat, Domino. He sleeps a lot, like cats do. But, he always is trying to lay on someone's chest or cuddle with someone in bed. During his kitten years, he would chase around laser pointers and be very active. Next, our cat who sadly passed away, Sandy. She was 17 years old, and not doing too well. She would always take care of Domino by licking him, like a girl cat would do. Then, domino would give one lick back, and push out of her bed. She was the caregiver of the animals. Lastly, our other dog that passed away a while ago, Pippen. I don't remember much about Pippen. We had him before I was born and we had him until my elementary school days. He was a great dog and would love to lay under our dining room table. Pets are so valuable to me and our family and they bring us all the joy we need. While pets are expensive and take lots of work, they are worth it. The memories they bring to you and the love you have with them are so important. Our pets have made me the person I am.
