-Fire exits: Individuals need to know the nearest fire exit in the case of fire.
Fire exits should be visible at all times and should be shown to attendees before the event has even begun.
- Wiring and electric components should be taped down with electrical tape. (this includes amps,microphones,wires etc
-Venue : Numbacca islington
However, there are downsides to using an external venue outside the college as you have to take into consideration the cost of hiring the event, finding security and being able to find funds to cover the costs of it all.
This can be expensive and time-consuming but  in my opinion it would have been easier to host the event within the college where security would have already been available.

Planning tasks-
Within our group we allocated different tasks and I was allocated the role of doing the market research. Through, the market research I was able to find out who would actually consider the drum and bass event. Through the response that received back I found out that the majority of young people would attend a drum and bass event as it is seen as something that young people 18-25 enjoy doing.  However, not all young people are interested in a drum and bass event as it may not be their preferred type  event that they would attend. And if they were to attend, it would have to have   music that they enjoy listening to.
On the plus side I was able to use the market research to gather information that I would not have known prior to not doing the market research.

This was seen as effective as young people who normally go to live music events would see this via social media.Another advantage in using Facebook as a promotion tool is that there are no additional costs and social media is something that young people would use today. 
Facebook was seen as the most effect way of promoting the event   as most young  people use the Facebook pages to find out different events that are occurring live . Facebook is seen as a good platform for promoting live events.  Also, there were other social media platforms that could have been used  such as twitter,snapchat and instagram. 
However,if we were to hand out the flyers individually rather than promoting it online, it would have impacted the amount of young people that would have attended the drum and bass event.Handing out flyers to young people is not as effective as they would probably loose it or forget that they even had the flyer.]]> 2018-01-25 11:47:55 UTC https://padlet.com/siobhanmsgs/h9pb8o2q7ike/wish/224594782 siobhanmsgs https://padlet.com/siobhanmsgs/h9pb8o2q7ike/wish/224626751 -  You would need to make sure that the sound is not too loud within the club as there is a noise limit within the venue.
-You would have to bear in mind about  the noise pollution and other individuals who live around the area.
- There would need to be an area for the dj to set-up his equipment so that it doesn't interfere with the attendees.

Apart from the incident that occurred within the toilet between two people (due to being intoxicated), it did not disrupt the overall event. To make this event better, you could have more had more security around the club so that in future these incidents don't occur again. Another problem that had occurred was the fact that several individuals decided to bring harmful things into the venue.This caused the event not to finish at the designated time which was 4am but finished at 2am. Furthermore , the event could have been improved by having more security around the venue and also having people searched upon arrival.This is done to make sure that all young people who attend can have a good time and not have to worry about their health and safety. 
Another positive factor about this event is that the tickets were not expensive and were affordable for students/young people aged 18-25. However, if the tickets  were too expensive then it would have impacted the overall turnout of the event and no income would have been generated.
