I chose this picture because it shows how plants are one of the most important parts of the environment and society. If the plants didn't exist, the cow wouldn't be able to eat and humans wouldn't be able to get milk or beef, etc. Plants make oxygen, food, habitats for animals, provide materials for humans to build, plants are one of the most important aspects on earth.

Photosynthesis is when plants use sunlight to make water and carbon dioxide into molecules needed for growth. This picture shows the process of a plant absorbing sunlight, carbon dioxide and water to produce oxygen and glucose. This picture represents photosynthesis in an easy and understanding way. When i look at this picture i understand the process because it is explaining step-by-step how photosynthesis works.

The plants and animals that live in the Arctic tundra are basically fighting for their life. They are vulnerable to environmental changes like reduced snow cover and warmer temperatures brought on by global warming. Animals that are typically found further south are moving onto the tundra allowing more animals to fight over the same food.

Because of the neolithic revolution or agricultural revolution, people started growing food due to temperature rising and they began settling and starting families. These settlers started to built towns and cities. This led to the begining of culture and art. People started to do things a certain way and made traditions. People also created art, poetry, plays, sports, etc. Having a society that was developing quickly increased the population.
