Through this Ephesians series I learn that God has given the spiritual blessing in Christ in the heavenly place. Through His salvation through his death, which is completely from God and given to us we are becoming more like Him, to be like Jesus. So the end goal is to be like Him and to be holy and blameless. We need to live for God wholeheartedly and not to be selfish anymore as we are God’s possession. This all we know comes from knowing the Word of God is the basis of everything without the word, we are nothing without it, we cannot live and have the truth and righteousness.

This may change my life as I am more zealous in reading the bible after knowing the real importance of it. Without the word of God we won't have a complete armor of God, meaning we won't be able to fight against Satan. Besides, I also learn and try to evangelize to other non Christian as it is part of our job as a Christian to let them obtain the spiritual blessing in the heavenly place in Christ.

Oftentimes, we look at God's gift for us as a granted thing for us, so common that we look at our existence as a life for us to be FREE as WE like. However, the truth is, it is indeed, a gift for us, in which we are sometimes, not counted qualified to receive it, but we have to stand firm in the truth, and the truth is, we are God's creation, created by God, created to rule God's kingdom, under God.

Evangelizing, whether to friends or family, Is our mission, it can be our responsibility, our task, etc. but ultimately it is our mission, which can take time, and a lot of effort But we have to know that the emotions or the process we experience is what we are designed for. And to always reflect on them, to reflect on the intentions behind the happenings. It may be tiring and painful and all, but we need to be constant and intentional.

I am reminded countless times of just how sinful I was to the extent that I actively oppose God which resulted in God’s wrath being upon me. Yet, God in His grace and mercy made us alive while we were still dead in our trespasses, when we were His enemies and were unable to please Him. Now, I know that I am not just saved to do whatever I want but to do the good works that God has planned since the beginning and to display His glory as His church and children.

With the knowledge that anyone who is not in Christ, no matter how ‘good’ they may be, is against Christ and objects of God’s wrath, I now have a greater desire to share the good news with my friends. I’ve also learned that loving His church is equal to loving God. How I can love the church is by being concerned about their growth in the knowledge of God’s word, by meeting together, studying God’s word together and correcting and rebuking whenever they sin.

From the Ephesians series, I'm reminded about our past state and how we used to be - dead in trespasses and sins, but were saved by grace to do works that are for God. Therefore, we have the strength to turn away from sin and persevere as a Christian to fulfill God's plan of uniting all things in heaven and earth under Him, hence we should strive to be intentional to the people around us to help them hear the Word of God and enter God's kingdom as it is our duty.

I have also learnt that it is important to care for the growth of the church and other Christians instead of just our personal growth as a Christian, as we are a united body of Christ. It is important for us to equip ourselves with the armor of God so that we are not easily swayed by false doctrine and schemes of the devil. In order to do that, we should constantly be reading the Word of God and keep one another accountable in doing so.

From this series on Ephesians I have been reminded of our reality now as God's new creation and what Ephesians has to say on what it really means to live out my Christian life.

The series on Ephesians has reminded me of our sinful and unworthy state, how as man - we are completely unworthy of this grace that we have received on the cross.

This series has sharpened and deepened my understanding on what it means to be a Christian:
- That to be Christian means that there will be suffering. But instead of seeing suffering as how the world sees it - as something bad, or unpleasant. Now I know that to suffer for Christ is actually proof that I am changed in my knowledge - and that it is a mark of a Christian. Learning this in the series has challenged me to question how I have been viewing Christian suffering so far and whether my life so far has been one that has suffered for Christ,

Going through this series over the past weeks has reminded me time and time again of my new identity.
- That as a Christian, I'm now part of a people that has been saved to live for him - to be part of this holy people the church - that is meant to live out the truth of this gospel together that we may ultimately conform to the image of Christ.
- Ephesians' call for Christians now to walk in a manner worthy - has taught me that to walk and live my life in a way worthy of this calling means that there is no other way other than being part of His church. It's taught me that we are to be images of Christ, and that we are to make every effort to maintain and attain unity of the church - in terms of making sure that my brothers and sisters have the right understanding and ultimately to have every person being like Christ.
- From this series - I've also learned that as Christians we now have a greater calling in life - one that is much greater than what people would typically think. That as Christians, our bigger calling in life now is to be part of God's holy people - part of this corporate body that builds up one another into the image of Christ's likeness.
- As a result of this, I'm reminded that my priorities and concerns now need to change according to my calling. There are times where I realize that I have failed to live this out in my life. This can be seen in how there are days where I fail to…

Lastly, this series on Ephesians has reminded me that this Christian life is one of active battle - it has poked my own life in making me consider whether my life actually reflects this reality of war or if I have been a soldier running unarmed onto the battle field.
- Upon reflecting on what Ephesians says on taking up my armor - I've realized that I've been lacking in my battle readiness. I realized that I haven't been zealous enough in living out my Christian life, that I haven't been treating this as a battle - and as a result my attitude towards things been slow, that I haven't been living with my guard up.
- All this has been reflected in how I hadn't been on guard against my sin, how I haven't been careful enough in knowing God's word well - since one cannot be a Christian without knowing God and due to this I have at times allowed myself to fall into sin in terms of my intentions and actions
