I personally have been using ChatGPT to complete personal tasks such as finding mistakes in a text, making suggestions, composing emails, summarizing texts, etc. I strongly believe that it's a powerful tool that can provide plenty of advantages.

As for learning English, I must say that I love ChatGPT. It really saves time and makes studying way more efficient. It can provide definitions and translations of new English words, as well as provide a bunch of excellent examples of their use.

However, I don't think that ChatGPT is a great academic tool. In some specific professional areas like engineering, finance, medicine, etc., it just makes no sense to use it. First of all, its knowledge is limited, and secondly, it doesn't sound natural. As for poetry, it is able to imitate some poetic styles but cannot create something with deep meaning or uniqueness. In my opinion, ChatGPT may turn into a sort of personal assistant such as Alexa or Siri, but more intelligent and reliable, increasing our efficiency when working or studying.

Since ChatGpt has emerged more and more people use it. As every new technology tool on the society, it has a significant impact on our way to work or study, but we should be aware on the advantages and disadvantages that it has.

We all hear comments between this new tool and education but it has repercusion far away. During an interview to Bill Gates he says “This inspired me to think about all the things that AI can achieve in the next five to 10 years. It will change the way people work, learn, travel, get health care, and communicate with each other.” Adding more, Gates says, “Entire industries will reorient around it. Businesses will distinguish themselves by how well they use it.”

Some potential usses of ChatGPT are for example: it can write and debug computer programs, automate repetitve task, improve customer satisfaction and engagement, etc. Those task can make more efficient our way to work, industries process and also our way to develop our daily routines.

ChatGPT its powerfull tool, but as everything we should keep in mind that we dont know everything of it and how it works, having on mind when and for what use it.

At the risk of sounding as a technophobe person, absolutely outdated by the way, I must be sincere and admit that this is the first time I hear about chatGPT... Sorry!!
Maybe the age gap with some classmates make it possible, and also the fact that I´m not forced to use as many apps and technology as they are used in my current life.
ChatGPT could be an useful saver time tool when you need to write long texts, but if their are written and corrected by AI, will people make the effort of learning grammar rules (of whatever language) and vocabulary if "other" makes it instead of you? I don´t think so. Who will need it? Accommodate ourselves to easy work is beyond comparison.
Regarding ethical issues, maybe the most disturbing one for me is the possibility of whereas you think you´re being talked or assisted by a human person is an AI device which is interacting with you. Little bit scaring...
