In Verona's streets, a feud between two families reigns and sparks the love story of Romeo and Juliet. Romeo and Juliet is a story encompassing family, feud, love, and tragedy that ends it all. Each subgenre is selected to show the theme of always making decisions after thinking it through. Romeo and Juliet discover this theme due to their impulsive actions, which ultimately lead to tragedy, let's learn from their mistakes.

I chose to do a wanted poster for Romeo because due to his impulsivity, it led to the death of him and Juliet. He is wanted because he decided without thinking it through and marrying Juliet on Monday at Friar Lawrence's cell without the approval of the Capulets. Not only marrying her but marrying her only after 24 hours of knowing each other. Romeo's impulsive marriage to Juliet is a prime example of acting without thinking because their marriage led to the ultimate death of many, like Tybalt, Romeo, Juliet, and Lady Montaque. This poster is a reminder that impulsive choices can have series consequences.

One specific text evidence that shows the theme of not making decisions before thinking them through can be shown in Act 2, Scene 2 when Romeo proposes to Juliet after meeting each other, "Thy purpose marriage, send me word tomorrow,/By one that I'll procure to come to thee" (Juli. 2. 2. 144-145). His declaration of love and Juliet's fast acceptance show their impulsive nature when they are rushing into a life-altering decision. This leads to tragedy showing the dangers of acting out of emotion, not rationality.

I did a wedding invitation to Romeo and Juliet's wedding only for the nurse because the wedding of the two is the start of the story where everything goes downhill, and it shows the impulsivity of Romeo and Juliet getting married the next morning of their meeting. I have only addressed it to the nurse because she and the Friar were the only two at the wedding. After all, Romeo and Juliet didn't want anyone to know about their secret marriage when the two families were against each other.
The wedding invite reflects the characters' young recklessness and foreshadows the tragic outcomes of their impulsive actions in the play when they get married without any crucial thinking about the potential consequences.

A quote from the text that reflects the theme of thinking through decisions before going straight at it can be shown in Act 2, Scene 6, "These violent delight have violent ends" ( Fri. 2. 6. 9). This occurred during the wedding of Romeo and Juliet at Friars cell. This means that the impulsive actions, especially those made by emotion, like love, can led to bad consequence. Friar is warning Romeo about the major consequences that can occur marrying Juliet, but Romeo is blind to see those because he is drowned in love, showing the importance to have thoughtful decision making to avoid further consequences.

In the text, Juliet says, "Farewell! God knows when we shall meet again. I have a faint cold fear thrills through my veins/That almost freezes up the heat of life" (Juliet 4. 3. 14-16). Juliet shows her fear of what might happen after she takes the bottle of poison, showing that she hasn't thinked through the consequences that could happen if she drinks it. However, she does take the bottle, at this moment it shows the theme of acting impulsively without thinking it through, as her decision sets off a chain of events that leads to the tragedy showcased in the play.

However, Romeo needed to marry Juliet, and he quickly convinced her to marry him. This shows the theme of not doing things without thinking it through because of how fast they decided to get married, they didn't think about it, which led to the ultimate death of both of them. Due to improper communication between Romeo and Juliet, it ultimately led to tragedy.

The order of the board also goes from when they first met to the point where they were running away so their parents didn't find out, and lastly to their death. The sweetness of the cake depicts how they felt for each other and when you eat something sweet it can make you active and want more. But then the strawberry can be a little salty and too sweet showing that having too much of it is also not good. Ultimately this means that we shouldn't have too much and be careful about our decisions which the two didn't think about.

Romeo fell in love with Juliet and immediately wanted to marry her and so they got married the next day and this ended up causing many conflicts in the future.

When Juliet says, " I have no joy of this contract tonight; It is too rash, too unadvised, too sudden" (Juliet 2.2. 118). Romeo's decisions had been so rash to the point that even Juliet noticed it. They only met that night and Romeo had came and decided to ask her if they wanted to get married the next day. Even though Juliet ended up agreeing it shows how impulsive his decisions can be.

Lastly, another text evidence that shows Romeo's impulsiveness is when he says, "Well, Juliet, I will lie with thee tonight; Let's see for means. Mischief, thou art swift" ( Romeo 5.1.34). This line shows probably one of the most impulsive decisions that Romeo made. When he heard that Juliet had died he said he would die with her. Juliet at this time was faking her death and Romeo hadn't got the letter with her plan. However without thinking he ends up going to her and kills himself. This ends up causing Paris to die and Juliet to die at the end all because he rashly made the decision to kill himself.
